The Chicago Bears beat up a bad Jacksonville Jaguars team, but that's what good teams do: They dominate lesser opponents instead of playing down to them. If the Chicago Bears want to prove that they're turning a corner as a team, then they should be able to dominate Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers.

If they struggle against another bad defense, it will show that Shane Waldron still has a long way to go in optimizing the offense around Caleb Williams.

The Chicago Bears get a favorable matchup this week against an injured Los Angeles Rams team with one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

The Chicago Bears offense hasn't been able to put it all together yet, but it's more important that Caleb Williams is still showing steady improvement from week to week.

The Chicago Bears had every opportunity to beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3, but Shane Waldron's offense failed to take advantage of another strong game by Matt Eberflus' defense.

Caleb Williams had a lot more production on the stat sheet, but the offense as a whole had plenty of head-scratching moments in the loss.

Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears face an even bigger test this week against the Houston Texans in prime time, and it's not fair to expect the rookie quarterback to pull off the big upset.

The Bears do need to find more offensive consistency though and at least show progress toward being a more well-rounded football team on Sunday night.

The Chicago Bears started the season against the Tennessee Titans with more offensive line problems than we thought, but the pass rush was more productive than we expected, too.

It's a good sign that things can still get better moving forward. But we're still trying to understand Shane Waldron's rotation at running back and tight end.
