Maque DaVis and Darren Linker with the Fremont Arts Council share a great overview of the many festive and artful events that countless volunteers collaborate in creating throughout the year. Tim Palmer is the award-winning author of 31 books on rivers, conservation, and the environment. Nychol Lyna and Arthur Romeo are the coauthors of "Forgotten Baby," a special book exploring the journey foster care and adoption.  Nychol came through a challenging system in California and became an educator to work on the needs of what she called the "forgotten children," many of whom cycling through the foster system. Kevin Dixon is Assistant Director for the State of Washington's "Working Families Tax Credit Division". He joins us to provide important tax information related to the credit, administered regularly by the state's Department of Revenue to help low-to-moderate income workers and their families receive money back on sales taxes already paid. Barbara Sommer Feigin is the author of "My American Dream: A Journey from Fascism to Freedom". As a toddler, Barbara and her parents escaped Nazi Germany by way of Russian and Japan, later to land in Seattle.
