Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are unlikely partners on American Soil in the case of a missing child. Based on the 1895 H. G. Wells book by the same name, this movie was made in 1960 and while that means some potentially cringey special effects, the story line overpowers any of that. Better than Back to the Future? Not even worth a discussion.

An insiders look at Wall Street focussing on the aspirations of a young Bud Fox played by Charlie Sheen. His desire to land the "Elephant" could make or break him. Rain Man features an outstanding performance by Dustin Hoffman as Raymond - the Autistic Savant who's existence is discovered by his brother Charlie played by Tom Cruise only after their father's death. It's a road trip film, directed by Barry Levinson - and follows Cruise's characters journey of emotional pain, anger and learning to know and love his brother. Hoffman's character performance is one of the best you will see, and it's an eye opening look into his life. You wouldn't know it from the title, or the cover art, but October Sky is the true story of a young man and his mates in a small American Coal Mining town who attempt to build rockets.
