Public Health Decoded

YaleUniversity

Our mission at Public Health Decoded is to demystify public health research and make it accessible for everyone. Each month, two student hosts from Yale School of Public Health will focus on a popular public health - such as healthcare access, mental health, substance abuse - and interview experts in the field to help all of us understand the issue a bit better. We want to dive into public health issues that affect everyone to get you the latest on the research from the researchers themselves!

Medicare for All, universal healthcare - we have all heard these terms during debates on healthcare. Many times they have been used to refer to the same thing; a plan where Americans would/could get their insurance from a single government plan. But what does it mean and how does it affect you? To help us understand the issue better, we will be speaking with Dr Mark Schlesinger, Professor of Health Policy at Yale and Dr Brad Richards, Assistant Professor of General Medicine at Yale.
