- 34 - 31. Your Best is Never in Your Past
In today's episode, we're talking about how often we as humans overstay in unhealthy/toxic relationships, friendships and employement because we believe "it's not that bad", "it will get better", "this is the best I can do", "there isn't better out there", "I don't deserve better."
Or we geninuely believe we deserve the dysfuction or we believe we can fix them, it, the situation. Or we're scared of the unknown, so even those where we are isn't great and is hurting us, it's better than the fear of the unknown.
But I'm here to tell you that your best is never in your past. And the longer we choose to hold onto the things that are NOT for us, the longer we delay the very destiny that God for us. And only ever had THE BEST for us.
I pray this conversation is the wake up call you need and inspires you to step away from what isn't for you and into the best God has for.
Let's dive in.

Wed, 03 Aug 2022 - 19min - 33 - 30. Why Gossip is Dangerous
In today's episode, we're talking about setting strict boundaries when it comes to gossip. In the episode, I talk about the fact that gossip is like a second language that we learned from day 1. It's so common and it's everywhere, that it's almost like it's okay but the truth of the matter is that it absolutely isn't. Not only is it not okay, but it's also dangerous.
Gossip is always rooted in ego or jealousy and always resulted in division and destruction. So we're talking about it. Because our goal here is to set boundaries to become the best people that we can be and make people better. But we can't do that if gossip still gets a seat at the table.
This conversation is a must. Let's dive in.

Wed, 27 Jul 2022 - 26min - 32 - 29. The Place You Prayed Your Way Out Of
In today's episode, we are talking about a quote I saw on Instagram that really connected to my thoughts lately. The quote was "Never allow anyone to bring you back down to a place you prayed your way out of." This really got me thinking about how cautious and careful we have to be with our peace, our mind, and our spirit not to allow the negativity, the gossip, and the offense of this world to bring us back down out of the place we fought to get out of.
This is a powerful episode and a conversation I know we can all relate to and resonate with.

Wed, 15 Jun 2022 - 25min - 29 - 26. Setting Boundaries in Family
On today's episode, we're talking about setting boundaries in family. This one is tough because families can be tricky, but as I mention in the episode the number one area of your life where boundaries are absolutely crucial is with you, the number two is with family.
Because our family is a part of our actual identity, it's important for us to set appropriate boundaries to defend who we are as individuals.
One of the most important parts of setting boundaries in family to remember is boundaries are for the "messed up families" or the "toxic families". Whether you have a healthy or unhealthy relationship with your family, boundaries are necessary in both. Think of boundaries as less of restrictions you're setting and more like a roadmap you're giving, of exactly how you want to be loved, and treated, and what you will and will not tolerate. It's a cheat sheet to all things YOU.
This conversation is a must. Let's dive in.

Wed, 08 Jun 2022 - 39min - 28 - 25. Boundaries in Dating
On today's episode, we're talking about setting boundaries in dating. The incredible importance of setting your standards and boundaries to create a healthy dating environment and a solid foundation for your relationship.
But not only do boundaries protect your dating environment, but they also weed out the people who are unhealthy, toxic or broken and have no business being in a relationship. Boundaries will never scare away the right one. They protect, filter and guide you and your partner.

Wed, 01 Jun 2022 - 32min - 27 - This cannot be our normal
My heart is heavy for humanity. I couldn't with a clear conscious post a normal episode today, like things are normal. Innocent lives being taken, childrens lives being taken is not normal.
I am practicing what I preach and using my boundaries today, and stepping away.
I am praying for the families effect in Uvalde, TX and Buffalo, NY. And believing change will come.
Until next week, sending you love my friends.
Wed, 25 May 2022 - 04min - 26 - 24. The Good Ole Days vs Today
On today's episode, we're talking about how our brain likes to convince us that our best days are behind us.
Something that I hear all the time is "back in the day...." fill in the blank. Back in the day people were stronger, people cared more, the world was better... so on and so on. But what we fail to recognize is how much we have all evolved and how much better we are.
In the same way, when we make decisions to leave the comfort of our current situation for something better (whether that's a relationship, career, health or starting a business) our brain will use the same tactic, to remind us of "the good ole days" to get us to go back to comfort, to the known.
But the truth is, our best days are ahead of us. Our best is still to come, it's not in our past. So let's dive into this conversation!

Wed, 04 May 2022 - 46min - 23 - 21. 5 Steps to Overcoming Offense
This is going to be one of my favorite episodes I have ever recorded - Because I know how vital it is! We are talking about overcoming offense and to me, this topic is SO PERSONAL. Because I've been there, I know what it's like to be imprisoned by offense and have it rob you of every ounce of joy and peace you have.
In this episode, I talk about how to deal with the offense, how to process it, and how to move on. We deserve freedom in our minds and peace and joy in our lives but that can only happen if we learn to deal with offense and stop allowing it to dwell inside us.
There are 5 solutions to overcoming offense I touch on:
- Reflect Choose not to take it personal Confront Set boundaries Get busy
This is going to be one of the most powerful episodes I've ever done. Listen, listen again, take notes, share it... most importantly do the work. We are going to become people that are hard to offend. People so full of joy and peace.

On today's episode, we are talking about overcoming loneliness. Whether you're single, in a relationship, surrounded by friends, or married; loneliness is something we all face and struggle with at different moments in our life.
In this episode, I talk about how to heal the root problem of loneliness and not just the symptoms. Because believe it or not, surrounding yourself with people is not the quick fix to loneliness you might think it is.
There are 6 solutions to loneliness I touch on:
- Practicing gratitude Cutting out negativity Shifting your perspective Connecting with yourself Participating in and initiating meaningful and intentional connections Going out and meeting people

Wed, 13 Apr 2022 - 28min - 21 - 19. What Will Smith and Chris Rock Can Teach Us
On today's episode, we are talking about the slap heard across the world - dramatic? Okay, maybe a little lol. But we are discussing the Will Smith and Chris Rock situation that occurred at the Oscars and what I believe it can teach us.
In this episode, I talk about how if we view this situation from a place of humanity we find so many similarities to moments in our lives. The 3 things I touch on are:
- Self-awareness and how we must check-in with ourselves and our growth, regularly. Accountability and how we can give grace but grace doesn't cancel out keeping us accountable. When you lose your cool, you always have something to lose. Even if you think you’re good if you have experienced trauma/pain. Get help, make it a point to heal.

Wed, 06 Apr 2022 - 33min - 20 - 18. Navigating Friendships through Changing Seasons
On today's episode, we are talking about navigating friends through changing seasons. I truly believe that we aren't meant to live life alone. But if we aren't meant to live alone then that means we have to learn to navigate our friendships/relationships through the changing seasons of life, and that can be difficult.
In this episode, I talk about several of my friendships and the journey that we've been on, the mistakes we've made that at times cost us our friends. The rebuilding we had to do and the lessons we learn along the way.
I talk about navigating hurt, distance, and what to do when you feel like a friendship is over or it's time for you to let go.

I believe the quality of our life begins with the quality of ourselves (self-love). So what is self-love and how do you get started?

Thu, 06 May 2021 - 18min - 13 - 11. The Prophet You Need Most is You
The power of life and death is found on the tip of our tongue. So often as a believer we find ourselves waiting for the next great sermon, the next prophet word, conference or revelation but what we fail to recognize is there at 7,487 promises God gave to His children in the word of God.
Each promise is there for our taking, it is already said which makes it as good as done; because we both know God's word doesn't come back void.
All this means is everything we need, is already ours; all we have to do is take it and prophecy over our lives. Speak it out until we are living it out.
We have the power to preach our greatest sermon and it begins within us. We are the prophet we need most. Our greatest destiny, our blessings, and breakthroughs begin when we take God at His word and speak it into existence.
His promises are YES and AMEN.

3. What if it is?
4. Is fear your protector?

We've all been there and if you haven't, changes are that you likely will. Because the truth is the road to finding your forever love has a few speed bumps and pot holes that you encounter before you arrive.
And while heartbreaks, breakups, and pain are inevitable (because we're human) and while they feel like the end of the world; they're not.
However each heartbreak could have much greater consequences than just the pain you feel, if we don't heal properly each heartbreak causes damage that the next love pays for.
In today's episode, I talk about healthy principles that we can implement to help us navigate heartbreak and heal in a healthy way. Take a listen and share your thoughts with me. As always, sending you so much love.

It's easy for us to blame social media, after all, if it weren't for the perfectly curated and filtered photos we wouldn't have to compare other-selves to unrealistic expectations, right?
Well, I am going to challenge that because social media or no social media, realistic expectations or not; the only one that's responsible for monitoring our emotions and our thoughts is... well us. That's 100% on us. So when we find ourselves entangled in the trap of comparison, it's not social media to blame, it's on us to fix it.
