All children are different, and some are more shy than others. It's just part of their temperament, which is the unique way they interact with the world.

Teasing should be fun for everyone involved. For the safe development of the child, there should never be a time when teasing should turn to insults or acceptable in the life of a child.  Know that, the words we use are some of the most important choices we make.

Parents have began to push the boundaries of their children to a whole different level.

We now address our children as adults.

Many a times during child rearing career, you will need to release the child  to temporary care of another person. Whether this involves an occasional time-out to run errands or a routine of several hours every workday.

The extensive benefits of nurturing care during the first years of a child’s life are proven, and opportunities exist to reach young children and their families during pregnancy and the first years of a child’s life, through health, nutrition, education, and social and child protection services.

Only those who have experienced the anguish caused by being abandoned can understand the depth of this feeling and the fear it causes.

Remember early childhood development will not only benefit children of today but will have a direct impact on the stability and prosperity of nations in the future.

Child abuse in all its forms, has a more lasting negative effect on children, families, the whole society and nation than most people realize.

Children are not entitlement. Don’t have them if you don’t have the commitment to protect, preserve and care for their upbringing.

There is so much pressure to eat unhealthy junk foods and feed children with it as well. Parents also have the busy work schedule that do not give them enough room to monitor what their children eat.

The diet of children in the growing stage should chiefly comprise vitamins and minerals. Dr Pathak recommends a well-balanced diet comprising of essential nutritional components like calcium, proteins, irons and vitamins helps the body to achieve unhindered growth till the child attains puberty.

Children’s rights take into account the necessity of development of the child. The children thus have the right to live and to develop suitably physically and intellectually.
