In the first Uni Tunes interview of 2024, Archie and Fynn sit down with Max and Sammy of Up At Night, a Sydney/Eora band playing their "own little flavour of 2000s indie-garage-rock". In anticipation of their debut single, 'Run', being unleashed on March 8th, Max and Sammy share how they infuse fast-moving energy into everything they do – whether that's in the studio or on stage.

Singer-songwriter, Keenan Te has humble roots in Melbourne, but is now the 10th most listened to Australian artist in the world! In this interview, Keenan sheds insight into the past two years of his career from releasing his debut EP, ‘Phases’, collaborating with his idol, Guy Sebastian, on a to be released project and playing at his first ever music festival 1MX SYD on October 8th. In this “phase” of his career, Keenan is killing it but hopes to see diversity continue to flourish in the Australian music scene.

R&B singer-songwriter William Singe is one of Australia’s biggest artists. With silky smooth vocals over killer beats, it’s no wonder that Singe has built a dedicated fan base over his years of making music. In this interview, Will talks about his journey from growing popular from covers, singing on Jonas Blue’s iconic 6x Platinum hit ‘Mama’ and finally releasing his brilliant debut album, ‘Where Do Birds Go At Night’. Perhaps most importantly, Singe speaks on how becoming a father has helped him grow into the artist he is now, prioritising his own creative satisfaction above superficial metrics of success.

In the third ever Uni Tunes broadcast, Archie and Fynn speak to Luke Botting A.K.A. Benji Breakz. UK-raised and Sydney-based, Benji Breakz is multi-genre DJ with a decade of experience and debut EP that draws inspiration from his two worlds, built on a foundation of liquid DnB. Botting, a recently graduated student at the University of Sydney, was also the president of USYD DJ Society, raising the electronic music community from ashes and successfully pulling it through campus-less lockdowns.

Before The King drummer, Gabe, joins Archie and a head cold-ridden Fynn via the net to discuss the long road which led to the band's first two records. Fynn speaks to Olivia McNamara, A.K.A. ROZERA, ahead of her live set at UNI TUNES: Live At The Lansdowne. ROZERA is a versatile electronic music producer, a proud member of Sydney University DJ Society and an incredible vocalist who is no stranger to the world of music and performance.

"ROZERA (Olivia McNamara) is a vocalist, electronic music producer, and stage/screen actor from Sydney, Australia. At 19 years she is currently a student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  Her music is a fusion of future bass, electro-pop, dubstep, synthwave, midtempo and electronica, combining majestic synth swells with dark, haunting basslines, and brought to life with her pure, smooth vocals.  Olivia has appeared in various Australian drama series including Deep Water (2016) and Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story (2013). She has also starred in Metanoia (2016) and featured in The Supermarket (2016) and I'm Here Too (2017)"
