- 11005 - 7 Foods You Should Be Eating After You Reach the Age of 50
Today, I’m going to tell you about some important foods and nutrients that should be part of a healthy diet for people over 50.
Dr. David Sinclair, an expert on longevity, has researched longevity genes called sirtuins. NAD can increase sirtuins!
NAD is derived from niacin. It works inside your mitochondria, converting food to energy. As we age, our NAD decreases. Many people take supplements and get injections to boost NAD.
Dr. Abram Hoffer wrote a book about the diseases caused by too little niacin and how many diseases can be cured with mega doses. He’s one of the doctors who started the Orthomolecular Medicine Group, which used high doses of nutrients to create therapeutic dosages.
The following foods can increase NAD and should be part of a healthy diet for people over 50:
1. Beef liver
2. Grass-fed red meat
3. Probiotic-rich foods—raw sauerkraut, yogurt
4. Parsley (celery or chamomile tea can also work)
5. Curcumin—turmeric
6. Quercetin—onions
7. Omega-3 fatty acids—wild-caught fatty fish, cod liver
Sulforaphane, found in cruciferous vegetables, is also beneficial for healthy aging. Broccoli sprouts and radish sprouts are great to add to salads! Anthocyanins, found in blue and purple foods like blueberries, blackberries, and purple cabbage, are also good for anti-aging.

Mon, 11 Nov 2024 - 07min - 11004 - Reduce Respiratory Mucus
Today, I’m going to show you how to eliminate mucus in the lungs using NAC. NAC works similarly to salt by thinning mucus, but it also stops its production. It’s a potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiviral agent that can even break up biofilms. NAC also strengthens the cilia in the respiratory system, which helps to move mucus.
NAC can be taken orally, injected, or inhaled through a nebulizer. It can be beneficial for respiratory congestion related to an infection or for diseases like COPD or cystic fibrosis. NAC is also used in hospitals as an antidote for Tylenol poisoning.
NAC helps enhance brain function and has been shown to be beneficial for people with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson's, OCD, addictions, depression, and schizophrenia. NAC can improve insulin sensitivity, which helps regulate blood sugar and prevent a fatty liver. It promotes healthy blood pressure and cholesterol, and can even help with asthma.
You can reduce respiratory mucus with salt if you’re dealing with an acute infection, but NAC can eliminate mucus and the inflammation behind it.
Vitamin C, curcumin, probiotics, magnesium, quercetin, and vitamin D can all improve the effectiveness of NAC.
Sun, 10 Nov 2024 - 05min - 11003 - KILL Cancer
There are many ways that vitamin D function supports cancer prevention. Vitamin D triggers a cell to commit suicide if it’s damaged. It helps regulate cell growth and has potent anti-inflammatory properties.
Vitamin D enhances almost every part of your immune system, enhances chemotherapy, and makes insulin more sensitive. It downgrades genes that cause cancer and supports the gut microbiome, which is 80% of your immune system.
In a cancer cell, inflammation and a hypoxic, acidic environment block the absorption of vitamin D. Cancer also blocks the enzymes that allow you to convert inactive vitamin D to the active form. Cancer damages the liver and kidney, two significant sites of vitamin D metabolism.
Around 80% of tumors produce a hormone similar to the parathyroid hormone, which extracts calcium from our bones. This is why hypercalcemia is a side effect of cancer. When the parathyroid hormone goes up, it lowers and inhibits vitamin D. Too much calcium in the blood also inhibits vitamin D.
There are two systems of vitamin D: one that affects bone and calcium, and the other that supports the immune system. The bone system only requires a small amount of vitamin D every two weeks, while the other requires higher amounts daily.
When dealing with cancer, consider taking around 50,000 IU of vitamin D with magnesium, vitamin K2, and zinc daily. The World Health Organization acknowledges that vitamin D has anticarcinogenic properties.
Autoimmune conditions, osteoarthritis, tuberculosis, and HIV are also associated with vitamin D deficiency.
Along with increasing vitamin D3, the following epigenetic factors can help with cancer prevention:
1. Magnesium
2. Omega-3 fatty acids
3. Resveratrol
4. Quercetin
5. Curcumin
6. Berberine
7. Intense exercise
8. Sulforaphane
9. Ginger
10. Fasting
11. Low-carb diet
12. Probiotics
13. Infrared light
14. Decreasing stress

In this video, I’m going to tell you how to look younger naturally. The secret to younger-looking skin is NOT wearing sunblock every single day!
UV rays make up only about 3% of the sun's wavelengths. Sixty percent of sunlight is infrared light, which has numerous health benefits. Sunblock typically only blocks UVB rays, which are essential for making vitamin D. It doesn't block the UVA rays, which are typically deemed harmful.
Even UVA rays have health benefits! They can increase nitric oxide, which increases blood flow and circulation to the skin.
Skin cancer is often a serious concern when being exposed to the sun. Although we’ve been decreasing sun exposure, melanomas have increased significantly. Interestingly enough, melanomas usually occur in areas that are not exposed to the sun. So, is it the sun that’s causing melanomas?
If you’re using a moisturizer for younger-looking skin, check the ingredients! Many creams that claim to make you look younger are full of chemicals and actually have the opposite effect.
Synthetic antioxidants, sugar, and junk food will age the skin quickly. Overwashing your face can also cause problems. Antibiotics and things that act like antibiotics, such as birth control pills, antacids, steroids, and statins, can wreak havoc on your skin.
Oxytocin is a hormone that can increase stem cells for your skin. It has potent regenerative properties that also help with bonding and make people feel more social and calm. The microbe L. Reuteri can significantly increase oxytocin.
Many people do not have L. Reuteri in their microbiome. When you destroy the microbiome, certain microbes never come back!
Cold immersion, exercise, and facial exercises can also help you look younger.
Fri, 08 Nov 2024 - 07min - 11001 - Worse than Sugar
Today, we’re going to talk about the hidden dangers of starch. Some ultra-processed foods may not have sugar but are packed with synthetic starch. Many synthetic starches can potentially affect your blood sugar even more than sugar.
When you repeatedly raise your blood sugar, you will eventually develop insulin resistance. Over time, your fat cells can no longer store fat, and energy is stored inside the organs or as visceral fat. Ultimately, you lose the ability to control your blood sugar levels and can develop diabetes.
Starches are hidden sugar! Even products labeled sugar-free contain starches that can cause more damage than sugar.
Synthetic starches do not contain protein, fat, or fiber, all of which help buffer blood sugar spikes. Consuming starches can also deplete your body of essential nutrients such as vitamin D. This can cause significant inflammation, decreasing vitamin D’s ability to work in your cells.
Vitamin B1 is vital for your body to burn carbohydrates. Synthetic starches deplete vitamin B1 and zinc, leaving you tired and unable to create energy in the body.
Synthetic starches feed the pathogenic microbes in your gut. They can also contribute to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
Modified corn starch is added to food as a thickener or carrier of flavors. Maltodextrin is typically added to food as a filler. It’s also sometimes added to protein powders as an energy source. This is incredibly damaging to your cells and mitochondria.
Mon, 04 Nov 2024 - 09min - 11000 - Why Is No One Talking About This...
Today, we’re going to take a look at the underlying cause of autoimmune disease. Your immune system has two parts: the innate immune system that you’re born with and the acquired immune system that’s created through a series of infections. Over time, the acquired immune system becomes stronger and offers protection against infection.
The innate immune system is not the problem when it comes to autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune disorders typically involve problems with the T-regulatory cells or T-cells. Also called suppressor T-cells, these cells are the peacemakers of the immune system and stop the immune reaction when the job is done.
Prednisone, the synthetic version of cortisol, is commonly used as a treatment for autoimmune diseases. Both prednisone and vitamin D have reduce inflammation, but Vitamin D empowers and enhances the immune system. Prednisone suppresses the innate and the acquired immune systems.
Vitamin D shifts the immune system to increase the T-cells. Inflammatory TH1 and TH17 cells are usually too high when someone has an autoimmune disease. Vitamin D suppresses both of these cells, reducing inflammation.
Prednisone raises your blood glucose levels while vitamin D does not. Vitamin D enhances the cells that makes insulin and helps to regulate your blood sugars. Prednisone can break down your bone, leading to osteoporosis. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium and supports bone remineralization.
The thymus gland makes T-cells. As we age, the thymus gland deteriorates and our immune systems decline. Vitamin D slows down this process, but you need larger, therapeutic doses. Vitamin D does not work without the cofactors magnesium, vitamin K2, and zinc.
Dr. Coimbra of Brazil created a protocol that involves increasing vitamin D to penetrate any resistance. This lowers the parathyroid hormone which means that vitamin D levels have significantly increased.

Did you know that the “rounding rule” allows manufacturers to hide ingredients in your food if it’s less than 500 mg per serving size? There are also over 200 different words for sugar! These misleading practices could mean you’re consuming dangerous ingredients without knowing.
Incidental additives are ingredients that have a function that’s not related to texture, flavor, or a preservative. If these ingredients are less than 5% of the finished product, they don’t have to list it on the label.
Maltodextrin is a common incidental ingredient. It’s a carbohydrate that acts more like sugar in the body and has a glycemic index of 180 compared to table sugar, which is only 74.
Hexane is one of the most dangerous ingredients in food. Its residue is often found in products containing soy protein isolates, which are commonly added to bars, veggie burgers, and plant-based products. Hexane is a chemical solvent used to extract this protein from the soybean.
The CDC classifies hexane as a neurotoxin, and the EPA considers it hazardous air pollution. However, no regulatory body measures the amount of hexane in food.
Sugar-free products can often spike your blood sugar because of other hidden ingredients. Always check the ingredient list and pay attention to the following products and labels:
•No added sugar
•Sugar-free products with carbohydrates
•Sugar-free gum
•Corn syrup solids
•Sugar-free, non-dairy creamers
Iodine turns blue when combined with starch. Add a drop or two of iodine to a glass of water, and watch products with hidden starch turn blue or purple when you mix them in!
Sat, 02 Nov 2024 - 07min - 10998 - The Greatest Overlooked Nutrient in Medicine
Vitamin K2 removes calcium from your arteries and other soft tissues and puts it into the bone where it belongs. In this video, we’re going to discuss the health benefits of vitamin K2 and how it can be used to clean your arteries, prevent heart attacks, and keep you healthy!
Vitamin K2 deficiency can lead to soft tissue calcification, bone corrosion, osteoporosis, and cavities.
You can get vitamin K2 from the diet, or you can make it from vitamin K1 in the gut. Natto (fermented soybeans) is the food with the most vitamin K2. Eel, goose liver, chicken liver, and beef liver also contain a significant amount of vitamin K2. Butter and cheese from grass-fed animals, salami, pork chops, and fermented vegetables contain small amounts of vitamin K2.
Vitamin K2 can clean your arteries naturally, yet it’s found in fatty foods that we’ve been told to avoid! Because it’s a fat-soluble vitamin, you may have trouble absorbing it if you don’t have a gallbladder or you have a bad liver.
You need plenty of healthy microbes to convert vitamin K1 to vitamin K2. B. subtilis is the primary microbe responsible for this conversion. Only 30% of the population has this microbe in their gut because it’s very easily destroyed when you consume broad-spectrum antibiotics.
Without B. subtilis and vitamin K2 foods, you’re at risk for developing calcification in the arteries.
Antibiotics, steroids, PPIs, antacids, glyphosate from GMO foods, alcohol, junk food, liver disease, high-sugar diets, and blood thinners destroy the gut’s ability to make vitamin K2. Low-fat diets can also put you at risk for a vitamin K2 deficiency.
Vitamin K2 is dependent on magnesium. Together, magnesium and vitamin K2 can help clean your arteries and remove calcium deposits from your soft tissues.
There are two kinds of vitamin K2: MK4 (synthetic) and MK7 (natural). Try taking 100 mcg of MK7 vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3.

Mon, 28 Oct 2024 - 11min - 10996 - I Was Shocked When I Learned About This
Are we being slowly poisoned? I was SHOCKED to learn about forever chemicals, also known as PFAS. Over 97% of Americans have tested positive for PFAS chemicals! In this video, I’ll tell you how to limit exposure and strengthen your body to protect you from forever chemicals.
LINKS TO WATER FILTERS:
https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Berkey-...
https://www.amazon.com/ZeroWater-7-Cu...
https://clearlyfiltered.com/products/...
PFAS chemicals are called forever chemicals because they stay in the environment for thousands of years. They’ve been found in our fat cells and breast milk and are especially problematic in our drinking water.
PFAS are linked to many health problems, including cancer, hormone problems, liver damage, and reproductive damage.
Forever chemicals are everywhere! They’re found in Teflon cookware, food packaging, and canned goods, and firefighters are exposed to them when they use their foam.
PFAS were first introduced into the environment in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Companies used loopholes by conducting their own studies to classify their products as GRAS (generally recognized as safe).
To avoid the toxic side effects of PFAS, you should limit your exposure and build up your body’s tolerance to these toxic chemicals.
The EWG (Environmental Working Group) evaluated 25 PFAS chemicals and found that only 3 water filters could effectively remove them from drinking water: Travel Berkey Gravity, Clearly Filtered, and Zero Water. Because the water supply exposes you to many of the forever chemicals, it’s a good idea to invest in a good water filter.
Forever chemicals build up in the body but don’t come out very easily. Here are some of the ways you can eliminate PFAS from the body and minimize their health effects:
•Sweating
•Autophagy
•Infrared light exposure
•Consuming spirulina and chlorella
Your body has detoxification enzymes that can help you eliminate poisons naturally. To help detoxify the body, consume foods with sulfur, such as eggs, garlic, and onion. Cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts are high in sulfur and other antioxidants that can help the detoxification process.
Glutamine is a vital antioxidant that can help increase glutathione in the body. Red meat is the best source, and glycine and probiotics are also essential.
It’s almost impossible to create a toxin-free environment! Trace minerals such as selenium, iodine, and copper, found in seafood and grass-fed red meat can help strengthen the biochemical pathways in your body to help eliminate forever chemicals.
Sun, 27 Oct 2024 - 07min - 10995 - Vitamin B1 and SUGAR Experiment: WARNING
Are you participating in a vitamin B1 and sugar experiment unknowingly? Some common ailments may stem from a vitamin B1 deficiency caused by too much sugar. In this video, I’ll explain how sugar depletes B1 and could leave you deficient.
DATA:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...
High-sugar diets can significantly affect your vitamin B1 levels. A vitamin B1 deficiency can cause fluid retention and lactic acid buildup, which can show up as restless legs syndrome. Many complications associated with diabetes type 1 and type 2 are related to vitamin B1 deficiency.
Vitamin B1, or thiamine, supports a healthy nervous system and the process that turns fuel into usable energy in the body.
Here are some of the warning signs of vitamin B1 deficiency:
•Nervous tension
•Irritability
•Restlessness
•Brain fog
•Air hunger
•Numbness on the bottom of feet and/or fingertips
•Hand tremors
•Confusion
•Low pulse rate
•Personality changes
•Low tolerance to stress
•Loss of coordination
•Headaches
•Constipation
•Insomnia
Allithiamine is a fat-soluble natural form of vitamin B1, which easily permeates the cell membrane and the blood-brain barrier. Benfotiamine is a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1 that may be beneficial for people with blood sugar issues.
Pork, beef, organ meats, eggs, fish, and nuts are the best food sources of vitamin B1. Unfortified nutritional yeast is also a good source.
Sat, 26 Oct 2024 - 07min - 10994 - The Truth About this "Healthy" Food
Are gluten-free foods healthy? A “gluten-free” label often seems healthier, but is it? In this video, we’ll discuss some of the common myths about gluten-free products and uncover the truth about gluten-free foods.
DATA:
https://www.cornucopia.org/hexane-gui...
Gluten is the only protein that humans can not digest. Over the years, we’ve added more and more gluten to the diet, which has increased gut inflammation.
Just because a food is gluten-free does not make it healthy! Processed gluten-free foods are loaded with seed oils, sugars, and starches. Gluten can destroy the gut, but so can refined starches and sugars. Good bacteria prefer fiber, but bad bacteria thrive on sugar and starches. Consuming processed gluten-free foods can create an overgrowth of harmful bacteria.
When bad bacteria breaks down and dies, it releases a toxic byproduct that can lead to inflammation in the liver, a fatty liver, and skin issues like dermatitis.
Chemicals, enzymes, and acids are used to remove the gluten from the grain in processed gluten-free foods, creating a more highly refined product.
Gluten-free foods are low in protein, which can lead to over-eating. They can also cause SIBO, inflammation, and leaky gut. Gut health directly contributes to your mental health, so this can lead to moodiness, lowered emotions, anxiety, and depression.
Read the ingredients in gluten-free products or focus on consuming whole foods like meat and vegetables. If the fiber from vegetables makes things worse, try the carnivore diet for some time.
Fri, 25 Oct 2024 - 07min - 10993 - The #1 Superfood in the World
Is red meat unhealthy? You’ve probably been taught that red meat causes cancer and other health conditions like type 2 diabetes and heart disease, but did you know that red meat is the #1 superfood? Discover the amazing health benefits of red meat in this video!

Today, I’m going to tell you about the #1 superfood, red meat! Some people think green powder is the best superfood, but while it's very beneficial, it’s missing one important ingredient—protein. Green powder has vitamin C, K1, beta-carotene, magnesium, potassium, and phytonutrients but no protein. To optimize your health, you might want to start consuming grass-fed red meat along with your green powder.
Red meat is an excellent source of B vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins, iron, selenium, zinc, and DHA. Grass-fed red meat also contains phytonutrients. Red meat increases the antioxidant glutathione and is a potent source of carnosine, an antioxidant that helps prevent glycation.
Protein consumption triggers the hormone glucagon, which stabilizes your blood sugar and helps counter the effects of insulin. Grass-fed red meat protein is the best source of protein!
A large portion of your body is made of protein. Muscle, collagen, ligaments, tendons, fascia, cell membranes, skin, and bones are all composed of protein. The 74,000 enzymes in your body are proteins, along with your neurotransmitters and hormones. Your blood contains a significant amount of protein, and it's also essential for immune cells.
Red meat contains taurine, an amino acid needed to help prevent high blood pressure, and leucine, an amino acid that triggers the synthesis of muscle.
Your body can make glucose from protein when necessary. Gluconeogenesis is the production of new glucose, which occurs mainly in the liver.
The protein leverage hypothesis states that animals, humans, and insects will continue to eat until they satisfy their protein requirement. This is why you will overeat if you consume junk food—it has no protein! If you have low blood sugar, you should consume protein, not candy!
Red meat contains myoglobin, a type of protein that helps carry oxygen. Red meat contains more myoglobin and iron than white meat. Cows, sheep, and goats have a unique ability to concentrate the nutrients from the grass into their meat.
Mon, 21 Oct 2024 - 08min - 10992 - The MOST Neglected Nutrient By Doctors
Discover the importance of the most neglected nutrient: magnesium! Magnesium can aid in heart attack prevention, support heart health, and improve your overall well-being. Learn more about magnesium deficiency symptoms and why magnesium is vital for cardiovascular health.
DATA:
https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/full/...
Today I want to share some lesser-known heart health tips and how magnesium may help lower heart attack risk.
Common heart problems such as plaquing, blood clots, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension are all related to magnesium deficiency.
Testing for magnesium deficiency is almost impossible because only 1% is in the blood. The majority of magnesium is inside the cells.
Heart medications such as calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, Warfarin, and medications used to treat high blood pressure work using mechanisms similar to magnesium. Magnesium acts as a natural calcium channel blocker and helps regulate calcium, lower blood pressure, lower adrenaline, and relax the muscles.
People deficient in magnesium often feel tired, especially after exercise. They may also experience migraine headaches. Without enough magnesium, vitamin D cannot work.
Alcohol, refined sugar, starches, genetics, stress, low stomach acid, drugs, and antibiotics can interfere with the absorption of magnesium. Consuming ultra-processed foods increases your demand for magnesium and could cause you to become deficient.
Many sources of magnesium, like spinach, almonds, and chocolate, are high in oxalates. Magnesium glycinate is a great choice for people looking to get more magnesium.
Sun, 20 Oct 2024 - 11min - 10991 - 21 Signs Your Body Needs Specific Nutrients
Over 50% of the population consumes ultra-processed foods, putting them at risk for vitamin and nutrient deficiencies. Many people have a vitamin D deficiency, magnesium deficiency, zinc deficiency, potassium deficiency, or vitamin B1 deficiency and don’t even know it! In this video, I’ll share 21 important signs of vitamin deficiency.
1. Tingling in the toes, also known as peripheral neuropathy, can be caused by a vitamin B1 deficiency. Pork, liver, meat, eggs, and sunflower seeds are the best sources of vitamin B1.
2. Cracks in the corner of the mouth can be caused by a vitamin B2 deficiency. Consume liver, red meat, and eggs to increase vitamin B2 intake.
3. Thinning hair can be caused by a biotin deficiency. Without enough biotin, you can’t make keratin, the protein needed to make hair.
4. Premature graying of the hair can be caused by a vitamin B9 deficiency. Folate (vitamin B9) repairs DNA, helps prevent cancer, and supports melanin production.
5. Mouth ulcers can be caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency. To increase your intake, consume more red meat, liver, and clams.
6. Deep pelvic bone pain can be caused by vitamin D deficiency.
7. Heavy menstrual bleeding can be caused by high estrogen levels or a vitamin K1 deficiency. Dark leafy green vegetables and liver are the best sources of vitamin K1.
8. Heavy menstrual cramping can be caused by calcium buildup due to a magnesium deficiency. Dark leafy green vegetables and pumpkin seeds are the best sources of magnesium.
9. Fibroids can be caused by too much estrogen, but vitamin D can help keep them in check.
10. Eye twitching, also known as tetany, can be caused by a magnesium deficiency.
11. Heart pounding can be caused by a potassium deficiency. You need 4700 mg of potassium per day.
12. Chronic cough can be caused by a calcium deficiency. Calcium lactate is the best calcium supplement.
13. Ice cravings can be caused by iron deficiency. Try increasing your intake of red meat or liver before resorting to supplements.
14. Low libido can be caused by a zinc deficiency. Shellfish, especially oysters, and red meat are the best sources of zinc.
15. Hearing loss can be caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency.
16. Fibrocystic breasts can be caused by excess estrogen, which may result from low iodine. To increase iodine intake, consume sea kelp, seaweed, and shellfish.

Today, I’m going to interview homesteader John Moody about the bill that involves the electronic identification of livestock.
John explains that livestock tracking goes far back in history. It started with branding animals to sort and keep track of cattle, and branding was eventually replaced with ear tags. With the rise of the beef industry, government agencies wanted an electronic way to keep track of all livestock at all times.
Like many government programs, this idea was sold under the guise of safety coincidentally as there’s a huge push to get Americans and Western countries to eat less meat. Their efforts have been unsuccessful thus far, which is why they are resorting to EID and RFID electronic identification of animals in an attempt to get farmers to radically reduce their number of livestock.
In the early 2000s, the USDA proposed the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), which would require every farmer and homesteader in America to radio-frequency ID tag every single livestock animal they have, including cattle, pork, chickens, lamb, and goats. Confinement animal feeding operations (CAFOs) were exempt.
John explains that the USDA does not need a vote to instate the NAIS. They can create rules without needing a law or bill to be passed. Congresswoman Harriet Hageman has created a bill to stop NAIS and has stopped RFID twice in the past.
Around 100 years ago, 50% of American households were farming households. That number is now down to only 2 to 3 million farmers in America! You can personally stand up for your farmers! People who were not farmers stopped this program in 2009. Buying your food directly from your farmers is one of the best ways to support them.
Call your congressperson and senator, and ask them to support Hageman’s amendment that would prevent the USDA from being able to require RFID tagging on animals of any kind.
The Rogue Food Conference organized by Joel Salatin works to organize pushback against regulations that make it difficult for the public to access real food from farmers. The next seminar is happening on November 8th and 9th in Dallas!
Fri, 18 Oct 2024 - 31min - 10989 - THIS Increases Heart Attack Risk over 2000%
This one trigger can contribute to a heart attack more than any other factor. It also increases the risk of viral infections and autoimmune diseases. Stress, specifically from the loss of a significant person in your life, can significantly increase the risk of a heart attack.
Stress can be physical, mental, real, or imagined. Even thinking about a stressful state can affect your body physically.
There's acute stress and chronic stress, but both can create similar problems. When you experience stress, your adrenaline and cortisol drastically increase. Adrenaline works very quickly, and cortisol takes time.
Chronic stress causes high levels of cortisol, which suppresses your immune system, leaving you more vulnerable to infections. This is why many people develop autoimmune diseases after a stressful event. A stressful event can destroy your immune system, especially the T-regulatory cells.
High-intensity interval training is an example of good stress for the body. Rock climbing, sports, woodworking, cleaning, gardening, dancing, music, art, and physical work are all therapeutic forms of stress.
Breathing techniques and adaptogens like ashwagandha can help minimize stress and its effects on your heart health. Vitamin B1, magnesium, and acupressure are also beneficial.

Mon, 14 Oct 2024 - 08min - 10988 - The BEST Fibroid Shrinking Vitamin (based on science)
Fibroids decrease in size after menopause, yet pregnancy, exposure to HRT, and birth control pills can cause fibroids to enlarge. Obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and PCOS also increase the risk of fibroids. Black women have a 3 to 9 times higher risk of developing fibroids.
Estrogen is the primary driver of fibroids and endometriosis. A fibroid is a growth in the uterus, but it differs from uterine tissue in several ways. Fibroids are very sensitive to estrogen and have increased estrogen receptors, more of the enzyme aromatase, less oxygen than the uterus, and more inflammation.
Many health problems and risk factors associated with fibroids are related to low vitamin D. Vitamin D has incredible properties that may help inhibit the growth of fibroids.
There is also a vast amount of anecdotal evidence in support of using vitamin D to shrink fibroids.
Be sure to take vitamin D with the cofactors magnesium and vitamin K2.

Sun, 13 Oct 2024 - 11min - 10987 - The #1 Ingredient That Makes You Fat (NOT SUGAR)
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about a dangerous ingredient that’s making you fat and damaging your health. The FDA classifies this ingredient as GRAS, which means “generally recognized as safe.”
Monosodium glutamate, also known as MSG, is a flavor enhancer. Studies have shown that it causes obesity, diabetes, metabolic problems, and a fatty liver in mice, so how can it be safe for humans?
Monosodium glutamate overstimulates a part of the hypothalamus that regulates the balance of hunger and satiation. It prevents the utilization of energy and also affects fertility. The average daily consumption of MSG is 590 mg to 2330 mg. Some people consume up to 5000 mg in one day! Consuming carbs and MSG together accentuates its effects.
Not only does MSG contribute to obesity, but it may also cause headaches, allergy symptoms, irritability, sleeping problems, and dizziness.
Many people consume hidden MSG unknowingly. If there’s less than half a gram of MSG in a product, it’s not required to be listed as an ingredient!
Foods high in monosodium glutamate include the following:
•Instant noodles
•Chips
•Flavored popcorn
•Canned soups
•Bouillon cubes
•Processed meat
•Fast food
•Seasonings
•Salad dressings
•Frozen dinners
•Gravy
•Appetizers
•Flavored crackers
•Canned vegetables

Sat, 12 Oct 2024 - 07min - 10986 - Fix Your Gut with This ONE Microbe
Did you know that microbes play a critical role in the production of neurotransmitters? Neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and GABA travel through the nervous system to regulate your mood. Ninety percent of all your serotonin is made in the gut.
The vagus nerve acts as a two-way highway between the gut microbiome and the brain. Depression and anxiety can negatively affect the gut microbiome, while problems with the gut can cause depression and anxiety.
The good bacteria in the microbiome maintain and support the gut wall and keep bad bacteria in check. Antibiotics, herbicides like glyphosate, junk food, medication, stress, alcohol, pollution, and smoking diminish the microbiome. This results in fewer neurotransmitters, an alteration of blood sugar, the migration of pathogens into the small intestine, SIBO, inflammation, leaky gut, and allergies.
Dr. William Davis has developed an amazing protocol for growing your own probiotics. Dr. Davis studied the work of Dr. Irina Conboy, who isolated the benefits of the microbe L. reuteri in experiments with rats. Rats given L. reuteri experience anticancer effects, a better coat, improved healing time, improved muscle tone, increased mating behavior, and an amplified immune system.
All the benefits observed in rats also proved true in humans.
To make L. reuteri yogurt, combine one probiotic tablet of L. reuteri, inulin prebiotic fiber, and 2 tablespoons of organic half-and-half, and mix into a paste. Once mixed, add a quart of half and half and combine thoroughly. Add this mixture to a yogurt maker and cook at 99 degrees for 36 hours. Consume a half cup per day!

Mon, 07 Oct 2024 - 09min - 10984 - This 1 Thing Can Replace Our Entire Medical System
The root cause of over 80% of chronic illnesses is insulin resistance. Fasting can help fix this problem. Fasting triggers survival genes and allows your body to use fat and ketones for energy. It takes about 3 days to get into ketosis.
When fasting, don’t eat if you’re not hungry. It’s important to let your body tell you how long to fast. Fasting makes your cells more sensitive to insulin and does not raise cortisol levels.
There are 2 types of fasting: water fasting, which means no food, and dry fasting, which means you don’t consume food or water.
Dry fasting can be even more beneficial because you trigger dehydration genes that can enhance weight loss. Fat can be converted into water for hydration while fasting. Dry fasting benefits also include enhanced autophagy and more detoxification in the liver.
If you’re fasting and you notice your hair is falling out or you lose your cycle, you might not be getting enough protein. Grass-fed red meat is the best source. It provides amino acids, trace minerals, B vitamins, and more.
Ensure you’re getting enough sea salt and plenty of sleep. Magnesium and zinc are also essential. You need about 400 mg of magnesium and 50 mg of zinc.

Sun, 06 Oct 2024 - 09min - 10983 - DRINK 1 CUP Turmeric Water for Amazing Benefits
Let's talk about the health benefits of turmeric. One study found that curcumin was just as effective as ibuprofen at reducing pain from arthritis without side effects! It’s also shown to be as effective as aspirin.
Another study showed that curcumin had comparable results to Prednisone in reducing inflammation for rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and IBS. It has also been shown to produce antidepressant effects similar to Prozac and Zoloft.
Curcumin has anti-diabetic properties and effects similar to Metformin. It also has anticoagulant properties similar to aspirin and Warfarin.
Research has shown that curcumin has benefits similar to statins and can help reduce LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. One study compared curcumin to 5-fluorouracil, a chemotherapy drug.
Turmeric has been shown to be as effective as anti-inflammatory drugs, especially for irritable bowel disease and digestive problems. It may also help reduce blood pressure and inhibit pathogens, especially fungi.
To prepare turmeric water, combine ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, a pinch of black pepper, and half of a lemon in a glass of warm water.
To prepare golden milk, combine ½ teaspoon of turmeric, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of black pepper in a cup of milk or coconut milk. Heat the mixture and remove from heat just before it comes to a boil. You can also add turmeric to a smoothie with berries and kefir.
If you have a cough, try drinking a cup of hot water with a teaspoon of turmeric and a tablespoon of raw honey.

Sat, 05 Oct 2024 - 07min - 10982 - The #1 Blood Test Most Overlooked for Hair Loss
Vitamin D is not a vitamin; it’s a hormone intimately involved in 10% of our genes. If you don’t have enough vitamin D, it can interfere with the genes responsible for hair growth. There is also a very high concentration of vitamin D receptors in the hair follicle.
Without enough vitamin D, your immune system is at risk of autoimmune conditions, including alopecia. Vitamin D supports the T cells that help combat autoimmune diseases. Psoriasis, dandruff, and dermatitis are also related to low vitamin D.
Magnesium is the most potent regulator of calcium and is involved with enzymes important for hair health. It’s also essential for the proper function of vitamin D.
There are 2 systems of vitamin D: one that controls calcium and one that has several functions, including hair growth and hair restoration. This form of vitamin D has a 24-hour half-life, so you need daily sun or supplements to prevent a hair loss problem.
There is a worldwide vitamin D deficiency epidemic! Several factors contribute to this massive vitamin D deficiency problem, including genetics, skin color, insulin resistance, diabetes, obesity, and air pollution.
Your blood vitamin D levels should be at least 70 to 100 ng/mL. You need at least 20,000 IU of vitamin D daily and 50 mg of magnesium to support hair growth. Zinc, iron, vitamin B12, and omega-3 fatty acids are also essential for hair restoration.
Key genes involved in hair growth:
1. Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) gene
2. WNT genes
3. BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein) genes
4. FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor) genes
5. TGF-β (Transforming Growth Factor-Beta) genes
6. LEF1 (Lymphoid Enhancer-Binding Factor 1)
7. PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor)
8. Dkk (Dickkopf WNT Signaling Pathway Inhibitor) genes
9. CTNNB1 (Beta-Catenin)

Sat, 28 Sep 2024 - 07min - 10979 - This Can Be DEADLY!
Today, we’re going to talk about the most important vitamin: vitamin D! There is a lot of misinformation about vitamin D.
Vitamin D blood levels are not very well correlated with the vitamin D inside your cells. It’s also virtually impossible to get enough vitamin D from food.
There are 2 different systems for vitamin D: one for calcium and bone and one for all the non-calcium functions of vitamin D, including the immune system, prostate, skin, gut, brain, and muscles. Hardly any of the vitamin D in your blood goes into this second system!
Most research on vitamin D involves the calcium system of vitamin D and only 600 to 800 IU. This amount may be sufficient for bone health but not for the other functions of vitamin D.
Barriers to vitamin D absorption that can lead to low vitamin D include the following:
•Air pollution
•Sunscreen/Avoiding the sun
•Gut inflammation
•Magnesium deficiency
•Genetics
•Latitude/Altitude/Season
•Aging
•Insulin resistance
•Low cholesterol
•No gallbladder
A healthy person needs around 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 each day. If you have health concerns, you may need more.

Cloves can help numb tooth pain and eliminate microbes. They have been patented for use in mouthwash, toothpaste, and gingivitis treatment. Cloves can also increase bile flow and digestive enzymes.
A study published in the World Journal of Dentistry found that clove oil worked faster, lasted longer, and was more effective for toothaches than benzocaine. Another study compared eugenol to hydrocortisone and found the effectiveness was equal to or greater in reducing skin swelling and redness.
You can use cloves to make a salve or a liquid to drink before bed. It can be used for tooth pain, biofilms, muscle pain, joint pain, and more! Clove oil can be mixed with olive or coconut oil and massaged directly into the joints.
You can also use clove oil to make a lip balm as a natural remedy for the herpes simplex virus. It can even be used as a mosquito repellent.
Drinking clove water before bed can help you relax, detoxify the liver, and improve digestion. It can also be used for respiratory problems like bronchitis, mucus in the lungs, colds, coughs, and asthma.
Clove water helps support cognitive function, a healthy heart, and healthy immune function. It’s a natural sedative, so it can be used as a sleep aid without the side effects of sleep medication.
To make clove water, boil 4 to 5 cloves in one cup of water, lower the heat, and allow it to simmer for five minutes. Cover the water while it’s simmering to prevent the vapors from escaping. Allow the clove water to cool for one hour and consume it 30 minutes before bed.

Fri, 27 Sep 2024 - 07min - 10977 - The 7 Warning Signs of a Zinc Deficiency
Zinc is the 3rd most important nutrient and is involved with over 200 different enzymes.
Zinc allows you to make glutathione, the most powerful antioxidant. It’s highly concentrated in the prostate and helps make sperm and testosterone. Zinc is in the part of the pancreas that produces insulin, and it is also in the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory. Zinc is vital for wound healing, decreasing gastritis, generating collagen, and hair regrowth.
Here are 7 common zinc deficiency symptoms:
1. Night blindness
2. Low testosterone, estrogen, or progesterone
3. Diarrhea
4. Acne
5. Alopecia
6. Cataracts
7. Thymus gland shrinkage
The thymus is the most important immune gland. It makes the T cells that control and coordinate every aspect of your immune system. T cells help to kill infection and cancer and help prevent autoimmune diseases.
Professor Greg Fahy has conducted fascinating research about the anti-aging possibilities that can occur when you restore the thymus gland. If you can regenerate the thymus gland, you may be able to increase your lifespan by decreasing the risk of cancer and infections.
In a rat study, a thymus from a younger rat was transplanted into an older rat. The rat experienced an increased lifespan and regrowth of the thymus. Rats given zinc had fully recovered thymus function and improved immune function.
Zinc deficiency can be caused by the following:
• Aging
• Gut issues
• Vegan/vegetarian diets
• Alcohol
• Sugar
• Chronic stress
• Medications
When you take zinc, you should also take copper. Thymus extract can also be beneficial to the thymus gland.

Mon, 23 Sep 2024 - 07min - 10976 - I Will Get Attacked for This...
Modern medicine is primarily influenced by big pharma and big food. The medical industry is also overspecialized, and nutrition and food therapy training is virtually nonexistent.
Check out these 9 common medical industry lies!
1. You don’t need a gallbladder.
The gallbladder stores bile salts that help you extract fats from the digestive system. If you don't have a gallbladder, you won’t be able to concentrate bile.
2. Statins have minimal side effects.
Statins have major side effects and increase your risk for type 2 diabetes and liver damage.
3. Hypertension is caused by too much salt in the diet.
Instead of trying to lower sodium, increase potassium. Focus on adequate potassium intake to support healthy blood pressure levels.
4. Low amounts of vitamin D will fix a deficiency.
If you’re low in vitamin D, 600 to 800 IU will not be enough. You need around 10,000 IU every day.
5. Red meat causes cancer.
Grass-fed red meat is one of the healthiest foods you can eat. It’s a high-quality protein source and contains all of the B vitamins, zinc, selenium, copper, iron, creatine, l-carnitine, coenzyme Q10, and glutamine.
6. Avoid saturated fats.
Unsaturated fats are a much bigger problem. Dangerous seed oils and ultra-processed foods are full of unsaturated fats—not saturated fats.
7. Your weight is causing your health issues.
Your weight is a symptom, not the cause of your problems. The root cause of your weight problems and the associated health issues is likely insulin resistance.
8. Plant-based diets are best.
Doctors and dieticians often falsely claim that plant-based diets are cleaner. Most fake meat products contain many ultra-processed ingredients.
9. Hypoglycemia is a complication of diabetes.
If you have hypoglycemia, you have too much insulin. Instead of focusing on lowering insulin, doctors will advise patients to eat glucose pills or candy if their blood sugars drop too low.

Fri, 20 Sep 2024 - 07min - 10973 - This Can DESTROY Your Body
There are several hypotheses about the origins of viruses. One theory proposes that viruses are necessary tools for survival.
You’re born with an innate immune system, but your acquired immune system develops over time. It cannot be developed without viruses! Viruses cause your immune system to adapt and become stronger.
Some viruses, like the Epstein-Barr virus, downgrade the vitamin D receptor. Vitamin D has two different systems. One directs calcium to the bone, and the other supports everything else, including the immune system.
Your immune system will suffer if you’re not getting daily vitamin D from your food, sun, or supplements. You need a minimum of 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily to support your immune system!
Strengthen your immune cells with the following:
1. Vitamin D
2. Zinc
3. Vitamin C
4. Sleep
5. Stress reduction
6. Garlic
7. Elderberry
8. Intermittent fasting
9. Magnesium

Mon, 16 Sep 2024 - 11min - 10972 - Get ALL Your Vitamins in this MEAL
DATA:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15531486/
Let’s look at the best food sources of the most important vitamins and minerals. When it comes to protein, grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat are the best sources.
People often think carrots are high in vitamin A, but they don't contain the active form. Retinol, the active form of vitamin A, is found in liver, fish, cod liver oil, and egg yolk.
There are two types of iron: non-heme iron, found in plants, which is not very absorbable, and heme iron, found in liver and red meat.
Red meat, fish, eggs, cheese, and liver are all excellent sources of B vitamins. You can get B vitamins from grains, but grains contain phytic acid, which blocks the absorption of trace minerals. Nutritional yeast and sunflower seeds are also good sources of B vitamins.
Collagen is a protein that makes up ⅓ of the body's protein. Consuming the skin from meat and fish, bone broth, and organ meats can help supply the body with collagen.
Cod liver oil, sardines, and fatty fish help provide vitamin D3, but the sun is the best source. Supplements can be helpful if you can't get enough sunshine.
Shellfish, cod, dairy, eggs, sea kelp, and sea salt are the best sources of iodine. Shellfish, organ meat, red meat, and Brazil nuts are the best sources of selenium. Oysters, beef, organ meats, and pumpkin seeds are the best sources of zinc.
Fatty fish is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids. You can get ALA from algae, the precursor to omega-3 fatty acids.
Fish and dairy contain magnesium, but not very much. Pumpkin seeds, greens, and chocolate are the best food sources. Animal foods are also not the best source of potassium. Consume plenty of greens and avocado to help get potassium.
Check out these meal ideas that include foods high in nutrients:
•Steak, eggs, salad
•Burger, cheese, sauerkraut
•Liver, onions, cauliflower
•Egg, avocado
•Sardines, tomato
•Tuna salad with nutritional yeast
•Salmon, carrots, Brussels sprouts
•Shellfish, mashed cauliflower
•Short ribs, cheese, tomato

Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula to ensure the mixture is evenly distributed. 7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the top is browning too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil. 8. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. 9. Once the bread has cooled, slice it with a sharp bread knife. Serve it plain, toasted, or with your favorite keto-friendly toppings like avocado, butter, or cheese. Einkorn is an ancient grain that has not been altered in a long time. Einkorn bread doesn’t have quite the same texture or mouthfeel as bread that's high in gluten, but it's close, and very few people have gut reactions to it. Modern grains are very high in phytic acid—a compound that binds with minerals such as zinc, iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium, and copper. Phytic acid is not absorbed in the small intestine, so you won’t be able to absorb the minerals it binds with. Some cultures that consume high amounts of bread have zinc and iron deficiencies because of the phytic acid. In the U.S., bread sometimes contains BVO or potassium bromate, ingredients banned in Europe. Wheat in the U.S. is often dried out with glyphosate, the chemical found in Roundup. Toasting bread creates acrylamide, which may lead to cancer.

In this podcast, I’m going to tell you how to reshape your face naturally and get rid of a moon face.
One of the most common symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome is a “moon face.” Cushing’s syndrome is characterized by high levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Chronic high cortisol over a period of time can cause fat face syndrome. It can also be caused by the drug Prednisone.
Cortisol can redistribute fat to different parts of the body, causing you to store fat in the face and the midsection. Over time, it can cause a hump on the back, red cheeks, thinner legs, and weak muscles in the legs and buttocks.
Your cholesterol and lipids may rise, and you’ll start losing potassium and retaining sodium. This sends your blood pressure straight up, vitamin D levels decrease, and your immune system suffers.
Cortisol indirectly causes a puffy face by breaking down protein and turning it into glucose. This spikes insulin, a fat-storing hormone. In the presence of too much insulin, you won't be able to lose fat.
Carbohydrates, frequent eating, seed oils, nutrient deficiencies, stress, overexercising, and certain medications also trigger insulin.
Try these 5 tips to reshape your face.
1. Eat less frequently
Cut out the snacks between the meals and do intermittent fasting. This forces your body to use body fat as fuel between meals.
2. Change your diet
Cut down your carb intake, specifically avoiding sugar and starch. Print my card cutout that shows you the ingredients to avoid!
3. Increase protein
Look for high-quality grass-fed meat such as beef, lamb, or goat.
4. Lower stress levels
Go for long walks, exercise, and do physical work. Avoid excessive phone use.
5. Try to get extra sleep
Make sure you’re getting enough sleep. Even if you wake up early, try to go back to sleep if possible!
Fri, 13 Sep 2024 - 09min - 10969 - 11 Bizarre Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency (You NEED to Know)
Today, I’m going to tell you about some of the symptoms that you probably didn’t know were related to vitamin D deficiency. The most common signs that you’re vitamin D deficient include lower back pain, depression, high blood pressure, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases.
Blood tests only show you the inactive form of vitamin D and don't tell you about vitamin D at the cellular level. Instead, look out for some of the surprising signs of vitamin D deficiency.
1. Head sweating
This is typically seen in infants but can also be seen in teenagers and adults.
2. Sweating more at night
If you’re vitamin D deficient, you may sweat excessively, even if the room is cool. You might also wake up with a moist pillow.
3. Mood swings
Vitamin D controls mood regulation, so if you’re deficient, you could experience a range of moods in a short time.
4. Procrastinating
If you constantly put things off for later, you could be vitamin D deficient!
5. Panic attacks
Low vitamin D levels can cause panic attacks, so try taking high doses of vitamin D3 if you’re experiencing them.
6. Achiness
Achiness in the pelvis, lower back, hips, and upper legs is often a sign of low vitamin D.
7. Loss of muscle strength
If you have low vitamin D, you won’t have enough calcium in the muscles. Calcium allows the muscle to contract and is also involved in muscle production.
8. Stiffness
Stiffness related to vitamin D deficiency usually occurs in the knees and fingers. This is related to inflammation, weakened cartilage, and weakened collagen.
9. Chronic fatigue
Vitamin D supports your mitochondria, the energy factories of the cell. Without enough vitamin D, you can’t make energy.
10. Slowed down thinking
Vitamin D deficiency can cause diminished cognitive function.
11. Difficulty feeling satisfied
If you’re vitamin D deficient, you might not feel satisfied after eating, and you’ll have a tendency to overeat.
Consider taking around 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 per day, along with the cofactors magnesium, vitamin K2, zinc, and vitamin B6.
Mon, 09 Sep 2024 - 13min - 10968 - You Will NEVER Eat Sugar Again after This Video
Let's talk about the side effects of sugar and how to cut sugar from the diet. The average person consumes 74 teaspoons of sugar per day. Since there are over 200 different names for sugar and types of hidden sugar, many people don’t realize how much they’re consuming. Food addiction expert Dr. Joan Ifland explains that you get a surge of dopamine when you consume sugar. The dopamine cells in your brain are not equipped to handle this surge, which is why you crash within 20 minutes. Over time, the dopamine receptor stops working, and you will need more sugar to achieve the same dopamine surge. You can reverse sugar addiction and get your body into a state of fat-burning called ketosis in as little as 72 hours! You will no longer crave sugar. Willpower alone does not usually get rid of sugar cravings. To get into ketosis and eliminate sugar cravings, you have to get your body to burn fat. Try these tips to get into ketosis and eliminate your sugar cravings for good: 1. Keep your carbs below 30 grams per day. 2. Change your environment and get your friends and family on board. Hide junk food or remove it from your house altogether. 3. Find pick-me-ups other than sugar. Exercise, dancing, music, laughter, long walks, nature, and helping others can increase endorphins and oxytocin without depleting your dopamine receptors. Physical work is also very therapeutic. If you fall off the wagon and give in to sugar cravings, don't beat yourself up. Use it as a learning experience! Consume protein and fat to minimize the damage caused by a slip-up.
Sat, 07 Sep 2024 - 07min - 10967 - 7 Bad Habits That Can Ruin Your Liver
1. Over-the-counter pills Tylenol is the number 1 cause of acute liver failure. Many people don’t realize the dangers of over-the-counter medications. Some people even take them routinely. Milk thistle increases liver regeneration and has unique properties that support liver health. NAC also protects the liver. 2. Sedentary lifestyle Eating calories that you’re not burning off causes damage and oxidative stress at the cellular level. Exercise can burn off excess fuel, strengthen the immune system, increase oxygen throughout the body, and reduce stress. Try to get into the habit of regular exercise or physical work. 3. Unhealthy diet Seed oil combined with starch or sugar is the basis for almost all junk food and is highly damaging to the body, especially the liver. These foods create insulin resistance in the liver, which is at the root of chronic health concerns such as belly fat, obesity, fatty liver, and high blood pressure. 4. Eating for convenience Many people live busy lives and eat on the go. This usually means fast food, poor-quality food, and poor-quality protein, which is damaging to liver health. Take the time to prepare your meals and plan what you will eat for the week. 5. Stress Stress can cause sleep problems that interfere with your blood sugar levels. Chronic stress can even activate dormant viruses. Vitamin B1, vitamin D, exercise, and long walks can all help reduce stress. 6. Alcohol Alcohol goes straight to the liver! Mixed drinks are the worst because they contain alcohol and sugar. Avoid making alcohol a part of your everyday routine. 7. Vitamin deficiencies Phytonutrients are essential for liver function. Consume cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and arugula regularly to help the liver detoxify. Salads with garlic and onion, grass-fed beef, and wild fish are rich in nutrients that help protect the liver.
Sat, 07 Sep 2024 - 10min - 10966 - You Will Never Get High Blood Pressure after Watching This Video
Today, I’m going to tell you how to prevent hypertension and how to get rid of it if you already have it. Around 95% of high blood pressure is classified as essential high blood pressure, which means the cause is unknown. Around 20% of the time, hypertensive medication doesn’t work because blood pressure is just a symptom of an underlying problem! If you treat a symptom and don’t address the root cause, you’re only camouflaging the problem. Vitamin D deficiency can cause hypertension. Your body's water pressure control system runs higher if you’re low in vitamin D, causing vasoconstriction in the arteries and increasing blood pressure. When this system goes up, it also causes sodium retention. More sodium and more water mean higher blood pressure. Potassium protects against excess sodium, but most people don’t get enough. You need 4700 mg daily. The risk of high blood pressure goes up during the winter when vitamin D is lower due to lower sun exposure. If you have darker skin, you’re at an increased risk of high blood pressure and vitamin D deficiency. Genetic high blood pressure problems are usually associated with a genetic problem with vitamin D. Insulin resistance is also connected to high blood pressure. If you eat a lot of carbs or snacks frequently, you may develop insulin resistance, a precursor for high blood glucose and the root cause of many chronic health concerns, including a fatty liver, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and belly fat. If there's too much calcium in your arteries, they can become stiff, increasing your blood pressure. Vitamin K2 can help direct calcium to the bone and teeth. It’s also vital that you have enough magnesium to prevent calcium buildup and clotting. High blood pressure is typically treated with calcium channel blockers and beta blockers. Magnesium may act as a natural calcium channel blocker and beta blocker. Try the following 4 things to lower blood pressure naturally: 1. 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D daily 2. 800 mg of magnesium glycinate daily 3. Low-carb diet 4. Increase potassium intake
Fri, 06 Sep 2024 - 08min - 10965 - 7 Early Signs of Liver Damage
In this podcast, I’ll show you how to spot the early signs of liver damage. Alcoholic fatty liver disease only makes up about 4% of cases. Most liver disease is considered non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Here are 7 surprising liver damage signs:
1. Bulging or tightness under the right rib cage
This bulging can sometimes cause pain in the right shoulder due to pressure on the phrenic nerve.
2. Loss of energy
This will differ from fatigue and affect your endurance, especially during exercise. You may feel tired after eating or need to go to bed early. You might also experience weakness or a loss of vitality and strength.
3. Itchiness
Many people with liver damage experience itchiness on the bottoms of their feet, but it can occur anywhere on the body. This is caused by bile salts backing up into the tissues and is often more noticeable at night.
4. Red dots or spider veins
High levels of estrogen can cause red dots and spider veins. Men with high levels of estrogen may develop increased breast tissue, while women may experience symptoms of estrogen dominance.
5. Thyroid problems
Liver damage can inhibit proper thyroid function. Symptoms like fatigue, loss of hair, high cholesterol, and dry skin are symptoms of a lowered-functioning thyroid.
6. Low vitamin D
Many people are deficient in vitamin D, and this problem worsens with liver damage. Inflammation, a weakened immune system, and muscle problems can also indicate low vitamin D.
7. Dark urine
Liver damage will cause your urine to be darker and may also cause it to have a strong smell.
The cause of a fatty liver, inflamed liver, and liver cirrhosis can be narrowed down to one root cause—the consumption of sugar, starches, and seed oils.
Eliminating these ingredients from the diet may help reverse fatty liver and other chronic health conditions.
Mon, 02 Sep 2024 - 11min - 10964 - 7 Foods to NEVER Eat Again
These foods are promoted as healthy, but after watching this, you’ll never eat them again! Find out about the 7 foods you should never eat.
1. Granola bars
Nature Valley granola bars contain bioengineered food ingredients, which means they’re GMO. GMO foods contain glyphosate, an herbicide linked to cancer. Granola bars also contain sugar (probably beet sugar), seed oils, and refined starches. One Nature Valley granola bar serving contains almost 7 teaspoons of sugar!
2. Agave syrup
This sweetener is often considered diabetic or keto-friendly because it’s low on the glycemic index. Agave is 85% fructose, which the liver must process. The liver treats fructose the same way as alcohol—like a toxin!
3. Flavored yogurt
You probably wouldn’t consider flavored yogurt as junk food because it’s marketed as a healthy, convenient probiotic rich in calcium and protein. At 30 grams of sugar per serving, most flavored yogurts have more sugar than a candy bar! Many probiotics in flavored yogurt won't even survive your stomach acid.
Look for whole-fat yogurt, Bulgarian yogurt, or Greek yogurt without the added sugar. Kefir is an even better option and has significantly more friendly bacteria.
4. Non-dairy creamers
Non-dairy creamers are often considered a healthy alternative to milk but contain unhealthy ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, glucose syrup, maltodextrin, and trans fats. Check the ingredients to ensure they don’t contain soy, corn, canola, or cottonseed oil. It’s best to just use regular cream or half-and-half.
5. Soy milk
Soy products like soy milk can cause estrogenic effects like the development of breast tissue in men. Soy milk is not really milk at all!
6. Fast-food lettuce
Dressings on fast-food salads contain seed oils, trans fats, hidden starches, and high fructose corn syrup. Fast-food lettuce is coated in a preservative called sodium bisulfite and rinsed in a chlorine wash.
7. Puffed cereals/rice cakes
A chemist who worked for Quaker studied rats and noticed they would die after being fed puffed cereal.

Sun, 01 Sep 2024 - 09min - 10963 - B12 Deficiency Symptoms That You Should NEVER Ignore
It’s often thought that only vegans and vegetarians need to worry about vitamin B12 deficiencies, but there are many ways to become deficient in this important nutrient.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can decrease your ability to make and repair DNA, increasing your risk for cancer. Vitamin B12 supports the myelin sheaths around your neurons, and a deficiency can cause anemia.
Early signs and symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and tingling in the fingertips and toes.
Over time, you may notice more symptoms of B12 deficiency, including the following:
•Red, swollen, shiny tongue
•Mouth ulcers
•Out of breath easily
•Dizziness if you stand up too quickly
•Cognitive problems
•Anxiety
•Circadian rhythm issues
•Depression
•Vitiligo
If you have a severe B12 deficiency, you may have problems walking, severe muscle weakness, and severe psychiatric problems, such as hallucinations and paranoia. Severe B12 deficiency can also cause permanent, irreversible nerve damage.
If you don’t regularly consume animal products, you could become deficient in vitamin B12. Try incorporating vitamin B12 foods such as clams, liver, sardines, red meat, tuna, salmon, grass-fed dairy, and eggs into your diet.
If you have low stomach acid, you will have trouble absorbing vitamin B12. A genetic problem known as polymorphism can also interfere with vitamin B12 absorption.
If you take vitamin B12 supplements, take the natural form called methylcobalamin. A healthy liver, small intestine, and acidic stomach are vital for vitamin B12 to be absorbed and function properly in the body.
Sat, 31 Aug 2024 - 06min - 10962 - I Get 20 Tick Bites Every Week (Lyme Disease)
In this podcast, I’m going to share my secret to preventing Lyme disease. Lyme disease is usually treated with antibiotics, which kill not only the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria, lowering the immune system.
Some people will develop a resistance to antibiotics, which may result in problems such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disease after Lyme disease treatment.
There are over 900 different species of ticks. Some ticks carry Lyme bacteria, a corkscrew bacteria called a spirochete. These bacteria can penetrate many different tissues and evade your immune system by hiding in tissues without immune cells.
A tick bite usually causes redness that could develop into a bull’s eye rash, a common indicator of Lyme disease.
Corkscrew bacteria can invade the heart and cause palpitations. They also have a defense mechanism that can keep them alive even after they’ve been engulfed by your immune cells. Spirochetes downgrade your receptors for vitamin D, the most important vitamin of the entire immune system.
Vitamin D strengthens your monocytes and makes them more efficient. It also increases antimicrobial peptides that help kill spirochetes.
There are 2 main systems of vitamin D. One controls calcium, while the other supports the immune cells, heart, muscles, central nervous system, and intestines. The latter system depends on vitamin D from the sun, your food, and supplements. This vitamin D only lasts for 24 hours in the body.
If you suspect you have Lyme disease, you may want to try taking at least 30,000 IU of vitamin D daily, even if you’re taking antibiotics. Anytime you take vitamin D3, you also need adequate magnesium, vitamin K2, and zinc.
Japanese knotweed and garlic can also be beneficial for Lyme disease.

Fri, 30 Aug 2024 - 09min - 10961 - #1 Vitamin to Eliminate Swollen Legs and Ankles
Today, we’re going to talk about edema causes and remedies. Swollen legs are often a symptom of edema and are typically blamed on liver, kidney, or heart problems.
Did you know that edema and pitting edema can be fixed without a blood thinner or diuretic?
Water retention in the lower legs is caused by a problem with the sodium-potassium pumps in your cells. If these pumps aren’t working correctly, water retention outside the cells, known as interstitial fluid retention, will occur.
When you have swollen ankles, it’s usually the result of high blood sugar connected to the hemoglobin protein in your blood. This is called glycation, which inhibits the blood cell’s ability to carry nutrition and oxygen throughout the body. Glycated proteins can also block circulation, leading to swollen legs and swollen ankles.
High blood sugar causes sodium retention, which also contributes to water retention. Over time, this can affect the nerves in the bottom of the feet, causing numbness and tingling, known as peripheral neuropathy. Even if you don’t yet have diabetes, edema can be caused by high blood sugar.
To help eliminate edema, you must ensure you’re getting plenty of potassium, which can be difficult to achieve through diet alone. The average person needs 4700 mg of potassium daily! Avocados, salads, and berries can help you meet this requirement.
You also need plenty of magnesium to help eliminate edema. Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and leafy greens are good sources of magnesium. Aim for 420 mg of magnesium daily. High-quality electrolyte powder without hidden sugars can help increase potassium and magnesium intake.
Vitamin B1 deficiency is likely behind issues with the sodium-potassium pump. For sugar to be turned into usable energy in the body, you need vitamin B1. Consuming too many refined carbohydrates can cause a vitamin B1 deficiency.
Vitamin B1, potassium, and magnesium can help eliminate edema, but you must also eliminate sugar from your diet.
Mon, 26 Aug 2024 - 07min - 10960 - The Best STRETCH to Stop Sciatica Pain
Today, I’m going to share a few natural sciatica pain remedies! The sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in the body. It extends from the lower back, down the back of the leg, to the bottom of the foot.
Surgery for sciatica can cause side effects like failed back surgery syndrome. Because 90% of sciatica pain will often resolve by itself, invasive procedures are best saved as a last resort.
Sciatic pain often gets worse in the winter, which would explain why vitamin D deficiency is a major contributor. If you’re dealing with inflammation, you need high amounts of vitamin D daily.
Vitamin D is a potent anti-inflammatory and works similarly to Prednisone without the side effects. It helps to repair the nerves, disc, connective tissue, and muscles involved with sciatica.
Magnesium deficiency can also contribute to sciatica because it’s essential for keeping your muscles relaxed. You also need adequate magnesium for vitamin D to work in the body.
Vitamin B12 is involved with several aspects of the nervous system and can cause numbness, tingling, and burning pain if you’re deficient. It’s highly anti-inflammatory, and a deficiency can also contribute to sciatica.
Most people don't get enough sun, so unless you’re taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D each day, you could end up deficient. If you have sciatica, try upping your dose of vitamin D3 to 20,000 to 30,000 IU daily.
Around 800 mg of magnesium each day can be beneficial for sciatica. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chocolate, almonds, leafy greens, bone broth, and spinach are good food sources of magnesium.
Red meat and other animal products provide plenty of vitamin B12.
Try these simple sciatica exercises focused on stretching the fascia to say goodbye to your sciatic nerve pain!
Sun, 25 Aug 2024 - 10min - 10959 - Fastest Way to Rid Your DOUBLE CHIN (Turkey Neck)
Today, I’m going to show you four easy double chin exercises that can get rid of a turkey neck for good. Because of the typical loose skin, a double chin is often referred to as a turkey neck. If you do these double chin exercises on a regular basis, you will see massive improvement!
As we age, we develop loose skin, especially under the neck, which does not get much exercise.
There’s a superficial and a deep layer of connective tissue called fascia under the skin on your neck. The muscles and fascia in your neck are responsible for head flexion, chin movement, and jaw movement.
The first face exercise works the muscle that pulls the jaw down when you open your mouth. The next exercise, which looks like a frown, activates the superficial fascia. The third exercise creates an elongation and deep stretch of the fascia. The fourth and final exercise allows for head flexion to strengthen and tone the fascia.
Remember, If you don't use it, you lose it! Stretching, strengthening, and tightening the fascia with these simple double chin exercises can eliminate a turkey neck!
Sat, 24 Aug 2024 - 04min - 10958 - 4 Common Ingredients That Will Kill You!
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about 4 common ingredients found in 99% of all junk foods that can shorten your life. You won’t understand which foods to avoid until you know the ingredients.
Hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate, interesterified soybean oil, hydrolyzed corn oil, maltodextrin, dextrose, and dextrin are chemical names for common junk food ingredients. Companies use these names to cause confusion.
It’s important to look beyond nutrition facts and read the ingredients because not all calories are the same. Calories from high fructose corn syrup are not the same as fructose from fruit. Synthetic starches differ from the starch found in vegetables, and there’s a big difference between cane sugar and synthetic sugars like glucose syrup.
Check the ingredient list and avoid these foods!
1. Sugar
2. Starches
3. Seed oils
4. Refined proteins
Soy protein isolates and A1 beta-casein create inflammation and should be avoided. You’ll also want to avoid wheat gluten.
Print out my convenient cutout card to keep in your wallet so you’ll know which foods to avoid on the go!
Fri, 23 Aug 2024 - 05min - 10957 - These Mistakes Are Super Unhealthy!
Today, we’re going to talk about some of the common mistakes people make with supplements.
1. People often wonder what time of the day they should take their supplements. Taking your supplements in the morning can give you the energy you need for the day. Avoid taking electrolytes before bed and calcium supplements before eating. Some people benefit from vitamin D supplements in the morning, while some benefit from taking them before bed.
2. Avoid swallowing too many supplements at once!
3. Introduce supplements one at a time to learn what works and doesn’t for your particular health problem.
4. Supplements won’t work if you have a poor diet. Make sure to get enough protein and limit your carbs.
5. Cheap vitamins contain cheap ingredients. Many cheap supplements and daily vitamins contain calcium carbonate, the type of calcium found in cement. They also contain fillers and dyes! Synthetic vitamins, except niacin and benfotiamine, often have side effects and should be avoided.
6. Avoid taking supplements and drugs together at the same time for the same problem.
7. Certain vitamins work synergistically with others, so you have to take those particular supplements together. For example, if you’re taking high doses of vitamin D, you must also take adequate magnesium. Similarly, high doses of zinc over time can cause a copper deficiency.
8. Don’t take advice about supplements from people who don’t know the data.
9. Many people don’t take a high enough dosage of their supplements to see results. You often need to take more than the RDA to produce a therapeutic effect.
10. If you’re a vegan, you must take supplements to prevent deficiencies. Vitamin B12, vitamin D3, omega-3s, iron, zinc, iodine, and calcium are all vital for your health.
11. Use the correct dosage of your supplement to see results. Your paracrine/autocrine system needs about 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily!
Mon, 19 Aug 2024 - 11min - 10956 - I Took Omega-3 Fish Oil for 30 Days. Here's What Happened
Today, we’re going to talk about fish oil benefits and the importance of omega-3 fatty acids. Both cod liver oil and fish oil contain omega-3 fatty acids, with the addition of vitamin A and vitamin D in cod liver oil.
Around 25% of the fat in your brain is the omega-3 fatty acid, DHA. Most of this fat is in the frontal cortex, which supports memory, focus, concentration, and attention. DHA supports the integrity of the membranes around the neurons and supports the retina. It also protects against inflammation, UV radiation, and macular degeneration.
Omega-3 fatty acids keep skin smooth and protect against acne, psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, red skin, and ultraviolet light. They can also help remineralize bone, decrease the risk of osteoporosis, and improve arthritis and joint inflammation.
Taking cod liver oil or fish oil for 30 days has even more potential benefits, including the following:
•Supports liver health
•Helps regulate blood sugar
•Helps reverse insulin resistance
•Supports inside of the arteries
•Reduces symptoms of asthma and allergies
•Supports fertility
•Helps eliminate soreness and inflammation after exercise
Avoid choosing fish oil based on price alone. Some fish oils are poor quality and may be rancid or oxidized. Know the source of your fish oil to avoid getting a product contaminated with heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, or mercury.
Fish oil and cod liver oil may taste like fish, but they shouldn’t have a rancid taste. To minimize the taste, try looking for supplements in pearl form.
Omega-3 foods include fatty fish such as wild-caught salmon, herring, mackerel, and sardines. Shellfish and grass-fed dairy products also contain omega-3 fatty acids.
Sun, 18 Aug 2024 - 05min - 10955 - This Is a DEADLY Combination
Find out why combining sugar and caffeine is not the best choice for chronic fatigue and why it might even make the problem worse. Rockstar energy drinks contain 16 teaspoons of synthetic industrial sugar, which is terrible for your liver. Monster energy drinks contain 14 ½ teaspoons of sugar, and Nos energy drinks have 13 ½ teaspoons. All three of these energy drinks have more sugar than Coca-Cola, paired with 160 mg of caffeine. Gatorade and Powerade also contain more sugar than Coca-Cola. Celsius energy drinks don't contain sugar, but contain sucralose, which causes similar damage in the body. They also contain a whopping 270 mg of caffeine! Sugar combined with caffeine creates a ticking time bomb in the body. If you have low blood sugar, sugar will give you a temporary mental boost in energy, followed by a crash. Symptoms of low blood sugar include irritability, brain fog, weakness, and fatigue, but you wouldn’t have low blood sugar if you didn’t consume sugar in the first place. Real energy in the body comes from the mitochondria in the form of ATP. The food you eat is converted into energy with the help of important cofactors such as B vitamins, CoQ10, magnesium, iron, sulfur, and lipoic acid. Sugar from energy drinks contains no cofactors, so you deplete your nutrient reserves when you consume them. Caffeine doesn’t give you energy—it blocks the chemical compound that makes you sleepy. The problem with energy drinks is that they contain too much caffeine. Too much caffeine increases adrenaline, which increases your heart rate, blood pressure, and cardiovascular stress. Caffeine is a diuretic, so it can cause dehydration. It can also cause adrenal fatigue and sleep problems over time. The better solution is to correct the diet for sustained energy. Proper nutrition, electrolytes, and salt should give you plenty of energy.
Sat, 17 Aug 2024 - 11min - 10954 - Don’t IGNORE These Nighttime Signs of Diabetes
Check out these 15 symptoms of high blood sugar that might occur while you’re sleeping.
1. Frequent urinating
This is known as nocturia and occurs when your kidneys remove excess sugar from your blood.
2. Excessive thirst
As your kidneys eliminate sugar through your urine, you deplete magnesium, potassium, and calcium. You can also become dehydrated, so you may have excessive thirst.
3. Restless legs syndrome
Excess sugar depletes vitamin B1. Vitamin B1 deficiency causes lactic acid buildup and a lack of oxygen in the legs. This can also be related to magnesium deficiency.
4. Peripheral neuropathy
This condition causes burning, pain, or numbness on the bottom of the feet. Benfotiamine combined with alpha lipoic acid is a great remedy.
5. Cramps in lower legs and feet
Too much sugar in the blood can cause a magnesium deficiency and calcium buildup. Magnesium glycinate supplements can help, and can also improve sleep.
6. Excessive sweating
This usually occurs in the face, neck, or upper part of the body. High blood sugar causes sympathetic dominance, which causes a person to be in a constant state of fight or flight.
7. Sleep apnea
This usually occurs because a person has high levels of insulin.
8. Hypoglycemia
If you have high blood sugar, your body will try to lower it with insulin. This can cause you to wake up during the night with low blood sugar. Following a low-carb diet for at least 6 to 8 months can help correct this problem.
9. Delayed sleep
High levels of sugar delay the release of melatonin.
10. Gastric reflux
High blood sugar can affect the autonomic nervous system that controls the valve on the top of the stomach, causing GERD.
11. Nightmares/vivid dreams
This is typically related to a neurotransmitter problem caused by a deficiency in vitamin B1, which is depleted by high blood sugar.
12. High blood pressure
Nocturnal dipping occurs when your blood pressure and pulse rate decrease during sleep. When you have diabetes, this doesn’t happen. This is called non-dipping.
13. Heart palpitations
This is caused by a lack of potassium and magnesium and can be corrected with a good electrolyte powder.
14. Teeth grinding
The activation of the sympathetic nervous system puts a person into a state of stress while they’re sleeping, causing teeth grinding.
15. Headache upon waking
This usually occurs because of dehydration.
Fri, 16 Aug 2024 - 09min - 10953 - You Will NEVER Eat Sugar Again after This!
The average American consumes 75 teaspoons of sugar per day! Find out why you should stop eating sugar today. Your health depends on it!
Today, we’re going to discuss the effects of sugar on your health. Sugar is considered toxic in the body, so it is removed from the blood when you consume it. Similar to body temperature, blood sugar is kept constant at around 80. When you consume sugar, the hormone insulin removes sugar from the blood and puts it into the cells.
If you continue eating large amounts of sugar, the body begins to protect itself by blocking the receptors for insulin in your cells. This ultimately decreases the amount of sugar inside your cells.
Over time, this compensation mechanism will break down, and you will no longer produce enough insulin to keep your blood sugar levels down, eventually leading to diabetes.
There are two types of sugar: processed sugars and whole sugars. Heavily processed sugars, such as glucose, dextrose, corn syrup, glucose syrup, high fructose corn syrup, agave syrup, white sugar, brown sugar, and rice syrup, are devoid of important nutrients like B vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients.
Your body requires nutrients to turn sugar into energy. When you consume processed sugars without the nutrients, your body pulls from your nutrient reserves to use the sugar as fuel.
Raw honey has 181 different chemicals that offer protection and allow you to metabolize the sugar. Maple syrup, turbinado sugar, molasses, coconut sugar, palm sugar, and date sugar are also less processed forms of sugar.
If you’re having trouble quitting sugar, consume fruits or whole sugars instead of processed sugars as you focus on lowering your intake.
Mon, 12 Aug 2024 - 13min - 10952 - The #1 Deficiency behind Aging Spots
Find out if a mineral deficiency is the cause of your aging spots!
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the causes and remedies of aging spots. Aging spots are sometimes called liver spots, but they’re not necessarily caused by the liver. Around 90% of people over 60 have these age spots.
Age spots are composed of melanin, the pigment that gives hair, skin, and eyes their color. Melanin protects against UV radiation, but we also need this radiation for vitamin D.
UV damage causes oxidative stress, or stress that occurs at the cellular level. Antioxidants can help neutralize this damage.
Oxidative stress triggers melanin and increases hyperpigmentation. Increased estrogen and progesterone during pregnancy, diabetes, inflammation, certain drugs, and stress can also increase melanin production.
Melanin absorbs UV rays and neutralizes the damage by dispersing it through the body and turning it into heat.
I reviewed some of the patents for age spot remedies, and they included natural remedies such as vitamin C, grape seed extract, zinc, licorice extract, and berries.
Many natural remedies for age spots include zinc and selenium. Zinc is good for everything related to your skin. It’s involved in hundreds of enzyme reactions and biochemical pathways and is considered a very powerful antioxidant. Zinc can naturally lower excess melanin production.
Zinc combined with selenium can be very effective against age spots. Selenium is a precursor to glutathione, one of the most powerful antioxidants. Selenium and zinc also protect your DNA. You can use a cream with zinc and selenium or take them as a supplement combined with other trace minerals.
Sun, 11 Aug 2024 - 07min - 10951 - The Worst Weight-Loss Diet
Here are the 7 worst diets for weight loss and your health.
1. Junk food version of the Atkins diet
The Atkins diet brand sells shakes and bars full of unhealthy ingredients such as soy protein isolate, soybean oil, artificial flavoring, and polydextrose.
2. Jenny Craig diet
This diet consists of pre-made meals and the “anytime bar” that contains soy protein isolate and concentrated milk protein. Jenny Craig pre-made meals contain synthetic starches such as potato flour, cornstarch, modified food starch, and maltodextrin.
3. WeightWatchers
This diet is based on portion control. WeightWatchers sells a brand called Smart Ones, which makes chicken pasta that contains wheat flour, wheat gluten, maltodextrin, soy protein isolates, and soybean oil—the same ultra-processed ingredients found in junk food.
4. Nutrisystem diet
The Nutrisystem diet claims to be diabetic-friendly but uses the same ingredients, such as polydextrose and maltodextrin. Maltodextrin is 185 on the glycemic index compared to sugar, which is 65.
5. Ideal protein diet
The ideal protein diet is not ideal! Wheat protein isolate is just another name for starch, which is a chain of sugars.
6. Optifast
This medically supervised diet program consists of three main types of food: shakes, bars, and soups. The first ingredient in their chocolate shake is maltodextrin!
7. Medifast
This “scientifically designed” program consists of 6 servings per day. One of their products is called the essential chocolate mint cookie crisp bar. Once again, this bar contains soy protein isolates, sugar, polydextrose, soluble corn fiber, brown rice syrup, milk protein isolates, and rice starch.
If you use these ultra-processed ingredients to lose weight, you will destroy your metabolism! These are very poor quality ingredients that do not promote health. They are the prime contributors to diabetes and obesity, yet they’re in “diet” foods.
To lose weight, consume whole foods and read ingredient lists! Just because a product is labeled “keto-friendly” doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
Sat, 10 Aug 2024 - 07min - 10950 - 7 Fruits That Destroy Cancer
Learn about 7 anti-cancer fruits that can destroy cancer and boost health and longevity. 1. Berries Blueberries and blackberries are rich in anthocyanins that inhibit cancer growth and feed your gut microbes. This is vital because 80% of your immune system is in your gut microbiome. Research has shown that anthocyanins can decrease breast, prostate, and colon cancer. 2. Citrus fruits Citrus fruits like lemon, lime, and grapefruit are rich in vitamin C, which supports the immune system in cancer prevention. Flavonoids found in citrus fruits strengthen the liver’s ability to turn carcinogens into harmless particles. They’ve also been known to decrease the risk for certain types of cancer, especially of the digestive system. 3. Pomegranates Pomegranates are rich in the compound ellagic acid, which is known for its anti-cancer properties. The compounds in pomegranates protect DNA from damage and decrease inflammation and oxidative stress. 4. Grapes Grapes contain the phytonutrient resveratrol, a well-studied compound known to decrease aging and support health and longevity. Grapes work as an anti-cancer food by protecting your cells from stress that can trigger cancer. 5. Tomatoes Tomatoes contain lycopene, a potent cancer-fighting compound. You can increase lycopene by cooking your tomatoes. 6. Avocados Avocados are rich in glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that can protect your cells from carcinogens. They also contain phytonutrients that target cancer stem cells. 7. Olives Olives contain oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol, which protect against cancer cell growth. Phytonutrients in olives increase apoptosis, which means they help cancer cells self-destruct Cancer-fighting foods have developed compounds to protect themselves from UV radiation, pathogens, viruses, and bacteria. Anticancer compounds inhibit certain enzymes and increase autophagy, the recycling of damaged proteins. Fruit contains sugar, but the fiber and phytonutrients help buffer its effects. Mon, 05 Aug 2024 - 05min - 10947 - This Fat Is SUPER DANGEROUS
In this podcast, I’m going to share some weight loss tips to help you achieve a flat stomach. Fat storage is a survival mechanism, but there is a limitation to how much fuel can be stored. Once your body is out of storage, fat is placed around the organs. This type of fat is called visceral fat.
If visceral fat is stored for too long, it spills into your organs. This is called ectopic fat. The good news is that when you burn fat, this is the first to go.
It’s not the number of calories that causes this excess fat storage; it’s the type of calories. Alcohol and ultra-processed foods like high fructose corn syrup cause visceral fat and liver fat.
Chronic stress can even cause your body to turn things into sugar. Poor sleep can increase cortisol and visceral fat. Certain medications, such as steroids, antibiotics, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety drugs, can also increase visceral fat.
Seed oils, refined sugars, and starches in the diet directly contribute to mitochondrial damage and visceral fat. To lose visceral fat, you need to eliminate ultra-processed calories. Instead, consume nutrient-dense foods like red meat, eggs, and fish.
HIIT exercise is the best exercise for burning fat. HIIT involves short bursts of high-intensity exercise with rest. Weight training can help reduce belly fat by increasing muscle mass. Long walks can help reduce belly fat by burning fat and reducing stress.
Vitamin B1 helps reduce stress and improve sleep. Nutritional yeast is one of the best sources of B1. Vitamin D can also help you lose weight. If you can’t go out in the sun, take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Make sure to take magnesium with vitamin D3 because it allows for vitamin D's proper function and helps improve sleep. Fasting also helps to burn fat fast by reducing insulin spikes.
Sun, 04 Aug 2024 - 07min - 10946 - Protein Bars Are WORSE than Candy Bars!!!
Today, I’m going to compare the ingredients of popular protein bars, but first, let’s compare a Snickers bar to a protein bar! A 50-gram Snickers bar contains 30 grams of carbs and is about 58% sugar.
CLIF Builder's protein bars are 68 grams and are about 41% sugar, with the same number of carbohydrates as Snickers. The extra carbs in the CLIF bar come from starches that quickly turn into sugar in the blood. CLIF Builder's bars contain 20 grams of protein but in the form of soy protein concentrate, a low-quality protein. Like most protein bars, they're also full of ultra-processed ingredients.
CLIF energy bars are 68 grams and 55.88% sugar. Despite their name, they will not give you sustainable energy, just a tiny spike followed by a crash.
KIND bars make several claims, such as “#1 ingredient=heart healthy peanuts," “low glycemic index,” “dairy-free,” and “non-GMO.” They contain glucose syrup, which is not a low-glycemic-index ingredient, along with sugar, honey, palm oil, soy protein isolate, and chicory root fiber.
Quest birthday cake bars contain 9 grams of sugar alcohol, which can lead to GI problems like gas, bloating, and diarrhea. They’re 41% sugar and also contain polydextrose, which hasn’t been studied much in humans.
Pure Protein bars claim to have only 2 grams of sugar, but they contain 17 grams of carbohydrates and only 1 gram of fiber. These bars contain 14 grams of starches, equivalent to 4 more teaspoons of sugar!
The ONE protein bar is a 60-gram product containing 20 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar, but it has 25 grams of carbs from starches and cellulose, which is essentially sawdust. It also contains maltitol, an ingredient you’ll want to avoid.
The MET-Rx meal replacement bar contains 48 grams of carbohydrates and ingredients such as rice starch, maltitol syrup, corn syrup, fructose, and soy protein isolate.
Next, let’s look at the ingredients of an A.M. RXBAR. They contain 10 grams of protein, oats, cashews, egg whites, and honey. However, the front label is misleading because these bars contain several other ingredients, 52% of which are sugar.
Sat, 03 Aug 2024 - 11min - 10945 - Which Is Healthier: Juice or Soda?
In this podcast, I’m going to compare juice and soda to determine which one is healthier. People often think juice is healthier because it’s “natural” and comes from fruit. A 12-ounce soda has 39 grams of sugar, while the same amount of fruit juice contains around 42 grams!
Juice is a highly refined product. The fruit is juiced, and the fiber and oils are removed. Chemicals like ethyl butyrate are used to enhance the flavor.
Most juice in the grocery store is pasteurized, sterilizing it and killing the beneficial microbes. Vitamins and antioxidants, especially vitamin C, are also sensitive to heat from the pasteurization process.
If your juice is not organic, you’re consuming pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides.
When you consume sugar from juice without the vitamins and minerals found in fruit, your body has to pull from its nutrient reserves to use the sugar as fuel. Both soda and juice deplete your vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant reserves over time and spike your blood sugar.
Most apple juice is made into concentrate and stored for an extended period, then shipped around the world to be reconstituted and sold as juice.
When it comes to soda vs. fruit juice, both are unhealthy options. If you’re craving juice, consume the whole fruit!
Try blending fruit into a smoothie instead of drinking juice. This provides a beverage with live enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants—and no pasteurization. Zevia is a great sugar-free soda alternative. Water with electrolytes is another refreshing option!
Fri, 02 Aug 2024 - 05min - 10944 - 5 Foods That Improve Sleep Quality
In this podcast, I’m going to tell you how to improve your sleep quality for your best, restful sleep. To do this, you need to optimize the hormone melatonin. Boosting melatonin is great for better sleep, but you also want to avoid the things that inhibit melatonin.
If the temperature is 75 or warmer in your room when you sleep, you will have significantly lower melatonin. Keep the temperature between 60 and 69 to optimize melatonin for your best sleep.
Sleeping after consuming a large meal can interfere with your sleep. If you’re doing intermittent fasting, try having your first meal at breakfast and your last meal at lunchtime.
Avoid blue light in the evening because it suppresses melatonin. Try increasing sun exposure during the day, which provides vitamin D and also helps build up melatonin.
EMF waves, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, medications, high-carb diets, and exercise before bed inhibit melatonin. Avoid these things for better sleep.
Try these 5 foods to boost melatonin and improve sleep quality:
1. Tart cherries contain melatonin and tryptophan, which turns into serotonin and then melatonin. Research has shown that tart cherry consumption increases sleep for some people by 84 minutes!
2. Kiwis contain serotonin, a precursor to melatonin. One study found that people who consumed 2 kiwis per day for 4 weeks had a significant improvement in quality of sleep, length of sleep, the time it takes to fall asleep, and the feeling of being refreshed upon waking.
3. Fatty fish like salmon, tuna, and trout boost melatonin.
4. Kefir is similar to yogurt but has even more microbes. Try blending it with berries, which are rich in polyphenols for better sleep.
5. Sauerkraut contains microbes and tryptophan to help improve your sleep. Cabbage also increases the neurotransmitter GABA, which helps calm you down.
Focusing on slow breathing through your nose can also improve sleep.

Mon, 29 Jul 2024 - 07min - 10942 - How Grocery Stores SCAM YOU!!
Today, I’m going to tell you how supermarkets get you to spend more money and control your food shopping experience. The majority of grocery store profits are not from markups on products! Around 50% to 75% of grocery store profit is from real estate, known as slotting fees. Food companies or brands spend money to have their products placed in prime locations in the grocery store.
Companies want their products in “the golden zone,” right at your eye level. This can lead to 8 times more product sales! Grocery stores use numerous marketing tactics to control your food shopping experience, such as manipulating grocery store layout, artificial smells, and floor texture to slow you down.
Supermarkets will place high-priced items near low-priced items and use color marketing tactics to their advantage. They also use social proof, such as retail tricks like “best seller” or “customer favorite,” to boost sales. The cereal aisle is the most profitable aisle!
Around 16% of the total sales of a grocery store are purchased from the front of the store! It’s no coincidence that candy lines the checkout aisle.
Labels are also very tricky, and similar marketing tactics are employed! Just because a product is labeled “natural” or “organic” doesn’t mean it’s not filled with sugar and starch.
To combat these supermarket tactics, avoid grocery shopping with kids or if you’re hungry and tired. Write a list and stick to it! Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, and don’t go into the junk food aisles.
Sat, 27 Jul 2024 - 10min - 10941 - I Might Get Banned for This...
Today, I’m going to tell you the truth about vitamin D. The current RDA for vitamin D is 600 IU (international units), which is about 1/10 of a milligram. Vitamin D is a controversial topic, probably because it can help so many!
Heliotherapy, or sunbathing, was used in the early 1900s, before vaccines and antibiotics, to help with TB, asthma, osteoporosis, tooth decay, psoriasis, mood issues, diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer.
The government commissioned the University of Illinois Chicago to conduct a study on the toxicity of vitamin D. This study lasted nine years and involved hundreds of doctors, 773 patients, and 63 dogs. They used 200,000-1,000,000 IU of vitamin D, and no toxicity was found.
Dr. Bruce Hollis, a pioneer in vitamin D research, explains that many vitamin D researchers are not receptive to the wealth of data about its benefits.
Data shows that areas close to the equator have the lowest risk of MS, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and diabetes.
You will need more vitamin D if you have vitamin D resistance, are older, have darker skin, or weigh more.

Fri, 26 Jul 2024 - 07min - 10940 - The Dark Side of Fast Food Industry
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about some of the fast food industry’s secrets that can keep you wanting more but are detrimental to your health.
The average American consumes between 2 and 3 fast food meals per week, which adds up to 150 to 200 meals per year. Even if you order value meals or make choices from the dollar menu, most people spend around $1500 to $2000 per year on fast food.
The fast food industry uses all sorts of marketing tactics to keep you wanting more. Mcdonald’s uses yellow and red, which stimulate impulsivity, increase serotonin, and even encourage you to eat faster.
The fast food industry also targets children, hence the playgrounds and happy meals at fast food restaurants. They use upselling techniques by offering fries or a combo, which can increase profits by more than 22%. Prices containing the number 9 can increase the likelihood of making a purchase!
McDonald’s is one of the largest beef buyers in the U.S. They use low-quality factory-farmed beef fattened with grains and treated with antibiotics.
Fast food meals also contain poor-quality ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, corn oil, soy oil, corn flour, corn starch, and fillers like maltodextrin. These ingredients are highly processed and highly inflammatory. Although fast food may seem cheaper and more convenient in the short term, it can cause massive health consequences in the long term.
Mon, 22 Jul 2024 - 07min - 10939 - 7 Foods to Avoid
Today, I’m going to tell you about 7 foods to avoid, along with some healthy alternatives.
1. Liquid sugar
Soda, juice, and high-sugar beverages deplete your body's vitamin and mineral reserves and contribute to insulin resistance. If you like soda, try Zevia zero-sugar soda instead!
2. Processed cheese
Pasteurized cheese products can’t be called cheese if they contain less than 51% cheese. Processed cheeses typically contain skim milk, canola oil, milk protein concentrate, modified food starch, whey protein, maltodextrin, preservatives, and salt. Choose real cheese instead!
3. Protein bars
Many protein bars are worse than candy bars! They’re often made with soy protein isolates and casein, and can contain 30 to 47 grams of sugar per bar! This number doesn’t include the starches, which are also sugar.
Protein bars are usually sweetened with highly processed sweeteners such as rice syrup, corn syrup, and tapioca syrup. Some are sweetened with sucralose, an artificial sweetener made from a chlorine compound.
Try boiled eggs, cheese, and meat jerky for quick protein.
4. Seed oil mayonnaise
Almost every mayo available lists soy oil as its first ingredient. Soy oil is a seed oil that’s highly processed using solvents like hexane. It’s high in omega-6s, which can be highly inflammatory. Look for mayo that is made with avocado oil and zero seed oils. Chosen Foods mayo and Primal Kitchen mayo are much better options.
5. Sweetened, flavored yogurt
Seventy percent of the yogurt people buy is sweetened, flavored yogurt. This yogurt contains more sugar per ounce than ice cream! It also contains artificial colorings and flavorings.
Opt for plain whole-fat grass-fed yogurt from A2 protein cows. For an even better option, try whole-fat kefir from grass-fed cows, sheep, or goats.
6. Soy protein
Soy protein is a cheap, heavily processed protein found in many foods. It negatively affects your gut and liver. Opt for whole protein sources such as meat, eggs, fish, and seafood.
7. Modified starches
Starches are chains of sugars, often used as fillers. Starches cause a more significant spike in blood sugar than sugar! Consume natural starch from butternut squash, beets, plantains, and purple potatoes.
Mon, 22 Jul 2024 - 11min - 10938 - Zero Sugar Foods Have TONS of Sugar: WHAT???
Today, I’m going to tell you the truth about sugar and the effects of sugar.
Doctors and large agencies like the Sugar Association have recently denied that sugar consumption could be dangerous for your health or that it could have any implications for your cardiovascular system. A similar tactic has been used by tobacco companies before they admitted that cigarettes were deadly.
The average person consumes 23 teaspoons of sugar daily, but could they also be consuming hidden sugars?
Hidden sugars are found in products that claim to contain zero sugars. Many ultra-processed foods, such as chips, Cheez-Its, and Goldfish, contain no sugar but are full of starches. Starches have a higher glycemic index than sugar, so they can cause a more significant blood sugar spike.
Heavily processed starches are not like the starch you’d find in a potato or rice. Starches like maltodextrin, modified food starch, or modified corn starch can harm your blood sugar and health. If you include starch in a person’s daily sugar consumption, the average person consumes around 75 teaspoons of sugar each day!
High-sugar diets cause you to deplete your nutrient stores until they are gone. Sugar also causes oxidative damage without the antioxidants to protect you, ultimately leading to chronic conditions, including diabetes, Alzheimer’s, inflammation, and skin problems.
Processed foods are often fortified because they are so devoid of nutrients. Synthetic vitamins sprayed onto processed foods are not an alternative to whole foods!
Stop eating sugar and eliminate starches from your diet. This can reverse the cycle of disease, lower blood sugar, and reverse a fatty liver. Your body will also be able to burn its own fat through ketosis. Ketones are a much better fuel for the heart than glucose.
Sat, 20 Jul 2024 - 06min - 10937 - What Happens if You STOP Using Your Cell Phone Before Bed for 14 Days
Let's talk about how to fix your sleep. The majority of the population uses their phones before bed. Cell phones and other mobile devices expose you to blue light, which powerfully suppresses melatonin, the hormone that helps you sleep.
If your melatonin is too low, you’ll have difficulty getting to sleep. Just a minute and a half of blue light exposure before bed can reduce melatonin. Blue light blockers or blue light glasses can help reduce blue light exposure.
EMF stands for electromagnetic fields. It is invisible radiation that affects the whole body. It damages communication signals within the cells and may increase the risk of cancer.
Trifield measures electromagnetic fields and radio frequencies. It can be helpful to use this device to measure in the areas where you spend a lot of time.
EMF exposure can affect your sleep quality and how deep you sleep. This will affect how you feel the next day.
Alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine interfere with melatonin. Stress before bed and temperatures above 75 degrees Fahrenheit can also affect sleep quality.
Poor sleep can affect your energy level, productivity, cognitive function, focus, concentration, and creativity. Surprisingly, poor sleep can cause blood sugar problems and increase your risk for type 2 diabetes, dementia, and depression.
If you want to improve sleep quality, try using blue light blockers that work and talk on speakerphone.

Fri, 19 Jul 2024 - 09min - 10935 - VITAMIN D IS WORTHLESS
Today, I’m going to share some important information about vitamin D. The VITAL study, which involved 26,000 people, concluded that vitamin D supplementation is essentially worthless. The study found that vitamin D supplementation did not reduce the risk of cancer, major cardiovascular events, stroke, or cardiovascular death.
In this study, they used the same trial protocols used in drug trials. One group received vitamin D, and the other received a placebo. We naturally have vitamin D in our systems from our diet and the sun, but no baseline vitamin D was determined in this study. Everyone in the study, including the placebo group, was permitted to take up to 800 IU of vitamin D per day.
Furthermore, the VITAL study measured vitamin D in the blood, which is the inactive form. This is the reservoir of vitamin D that supports the skeletal system and calcium regulation, but this was not tested for.
Vitamin D is involved in another system that supports the immune system, prevents cancer, is anti-inflammatory, prevents diabetes, and prevents dementia. The active form of vitamin D found in the cells is not measurable in the blood.
The VITAL study claimed to give the study group a high dose of vitamin D, but they only used 2,000 IU!
Dr. Hollis mentions a Townsend letter that references 6 papers that show the promising benefits of vitamin D:
• Decreases autoimmune disease by 22%
• Decreases the incidence of advanced cancer
• The more vitamin D in your blood, the lower the risk of cancer
• Reduces autism
• Reduces asthma
• Decreases adverse outcomes in pregnancy
Although the VITAL study essentially deemed vitamin D as worthless, there’s plenty of research showing that vitamin D can reduce breast cancer, tooth decay, depression, skin disorders, prostate cancer, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and colon cancer.
Research has also shown the surprising benefits of sunlight—the best source of vitamin D. Sun exposure can significantly reduce your risk of breast cancer, decrease blood pressure, and increase serotonin by up to 80%.

Mon, 15 Jul 2024 - 05min - 10934 - Your Body Is BEGGING For Vitamin D!!
Please join me in welcoming Professor Bruce Hollis! Professor Hollis’ research has provided a new understanding of the importance of vitamin D and its full range of functions.
Vitamin D has been understood as an essential nutrient for skeletal integrity and maintaining blood calcium levels. As microbiology and research developed, researchers found that many cells that had nothing to do with the skeleton could respond to vitamin D, including cancer and immune cells.
Vitamin D exists in different forms inside the body. When you take a supplement or sunlight hits your skin, you’re dealing with the inactive form of vitamin D. It is then turned into a compound called 25-hydroxy vitamin D, the intermediate form of vitamin D that stays in the blood for weeks. This form is picked up in blood tests but isn’t easily accessible by the tissues that might need it.
The final form of vitamin D is one of the most potent hormones, 125 di-hydroxy vitamin D. Vitamin D is converted into the active form in the kidney but can also be converted inside the cells.
The vast majority of studies substantiating our information on vitamin D in the U.S. have several problems and have produced inaccurate results. There is also no agreed-upon range on “normal” vitamin D levels.
Professor Hollis has conducted research and has seen significant results using vitamin D to prevent birth complications in women in Iran, in patients with low-grade prostate cancer, and in lactation. He also explains the importance of magnesium, a key cofactor for vitamin D metabolism.
Professor Hollis wants people to understand that few physicians recommend or acknowledge the benefits of vitamin D because national organizations have yet to properly understand and recognize them.

Sun, 14 Jul 2024 - 53min - 10933 - The Most Powerful Group behind What You Eat
Today, we're going to talk about the most powerful group in the food industry—the four companies control 90% of the grain trade. This includes products made from corn, soy, wheat, sugar, and rice, which comprise about 68% of the average person’s calories in the United States.
The 4 following companies are the middleman between farmers and food corporations:
1. Archer Daniels Midland
2. Bunge
3. Cargill
4. Louis Dreyfus
There is a lot of corruption in the food industry. Many “junk food brands” also own organic and natural brands, pet food, and vitamin and supplement companies.
Starches, sugars, and seed oils are the main ingredients in almost all ultra-processed foods. The sugar is used to keep you wanting more, seed oils are repurposed waste, and starches are a chain of sugars used as a filler.
Starches cause more of an insulin spike than sugar. Sugar has a glycemic index of 65 compared to 185 for maltodextrin! Fillers and starches can cause major health problems.
The market follows the demand, so what you choose to buy is important! If you stop buying these products, you decrease the demand.
Sat, 13 Jul 2024 - 06min - 10932 - ICE CREAM Can Be HEALTHY?!
Today, I’m going to tell you about the healthiest ice cream and the worst ice cream!
The worst ice cream for your health is Ben & Jerry’s! It contains cream, liquid sugar, skim milk, more sugar, brown sugar, soybean oil, and tapioca flour. There are 49 carbs per serving, with 3 servings in a single pint! That’s around 35 teaspoons of sugar!
Breyers ice cream contains 21 grams of carbs and 18 grams of sugar per serving. Breyers uses high fructose corn syrup instead of cane sugar.
Breyers vanilla ice cream is a step up from the other flavors. It contains milk, cream, sugar, xanthan gum, and natural flavors.
Breyers Carb Smart ice cream is their low-carb ice cream option. It contains maltitol syrup, which can cause gastrointestinal problems. It also contains soluble corn fiber and sucralose, a chlorine-based sweetener.
Haagen-Dazs is a better option. It contains cream, skim milk, egg yolk, cane sugar, and natural flavoring with 14 teaspoons of sugar compared to 35.
Keto ice cream contains cream, water, egg yolk, erythritol, strawberries, and soluble corn fiber. One pint contains 30 grams of sugar alcohol, which can create digestive issues.
Rebel ice cream contains 0 grams of sugar per pint. It contains cream, erythritol, egg yolk, chicory root fiber, milk protein isolate, carob gum, and monk fruit. This is a good option!
Simple Truth frozen dairy dessert doesn't contain 10% milkfat, so it cannot be called ice cream. It contains inulin, allulose, maltitol, erythritol, milk protein concentrate, coconut oil, guar gum, monk fruit, and stevia. Around 30% of this dessert is fiber, and it contains 39 grams of sugar alcohol!
Don't choose an ice cream just because it says it’s keto-friendly. Check the ingredients!
The healthiest ice cream is homemade ice cream. To make a truly keto-friendly ice cream you'll use allulose as the sweetener. Honey is also a good option, but it won’t be 100% keto-friendly.
Homemade ice cream recipe:
1 cup organic grass-fed heavy cream
2 pasture-raised, organic egg yolks
3 tbsp powdered allulose or 1 tbsp honey
1 pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
½ cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
Directions:
Blend the ingredients and freeze for 4 to 5 hours.
Alternatively, you can add all ingredients to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Enjoy your healthy ice cream!
Fri, 12 Jul 2024 - 08min - 10931 - The Worst Ingredient in the World: Interview with Dr. Chris Knobbe
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Chris Knobbe! Dr. Knobbe is an ophthalmologist who has been working on seed oil research for the past 13 years. His research investigates industrial seed oils and their connection to obesity, diabetes, and almost all the chronic diseases that plague us today.
Sugar consumption levels did not change much between 1922 and 1987; however, obesity increased by 600%! During this time frame, vegetable oil consumption went from 78 calories per person per day to 497 calories, respectively! The average American gets around ⅓ of their calories from seed oils.
In 1890, diabetes was incredibly rare, affecting around 0.0028% of the population. By 2016, 13% of the population had diabetes.
How do seed oils contribute to diabetes? Simply put, seed oils drive mitochondrial dysfunction, inhibiting the body's ability to burn fuel properly.
Seed oils are rich in omega-6 fatty acids that accumulate in our body fat, cell membranes, and mitochondrial membranes. These polyunsaturated fats cause oxidation and inflammation in the body. They are also nutrient deficient. When you consume nutrient-deficient foods like seed oils or sugar, your body has to pull from nutrient reserves, creating deficiencies.
Cottonseed oil was the first seed oil introduced into the food supply. It was initially manufactured as machine oil and lamp oil. It was also used as fertilizer and cattle feed. The goal was to make money and outsell butter and lard, and the manufacturers were very successful. By 2010, the average American consumed 80 grams of seed oils daily.
One of the easiest ways to eliminate seed oils from your diet is to stop purchasing food with a label! Focus on whole foods like meat, eggs, dairy, and produce, and avoid processed foods.

Mon, 08 Jul 2024 - 34min - 10930 - 7 Stupid Health Mistakes
1. Accepting the wrong health advice as fact
Just because someone is a doctor doesn’t mean you should trust them blindly.
2. Depending on protein powder for protein
Protein powder is incomplete compared to animal protein. It doesn’t offer the vitamins and minerals needed to stay healthy.
3. Treating symptoms and ignoring the cause
This is the main problem with the medical system. Healthcare practitioners prescribe medication to fix a problem instead of addressing the root cause. This is especially problematic when treating chronic disease because if you get off of the medication, the problem does not go away.
4. Focusing on salt reduction to reduce high blood pressure
Instead of focusing on salt reduction, which will cause weakness and other problems, focus on increasing potassium. Potassium keeps your arteries healthy and flexible.
5. Choosing unsaturated fats over saturated fats
Unsaturated fats like seed oils are highly refined and are in almost every ultra-processed food. Avoid them!
6. Avoiding red meat
Humans have been eating red meat throughout history. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals and should be included in a healthy diet.
7. Only reading nutrition labels
Nutrition facts can be confusing and misleading. You have to read the ingredients! Look for sugar, hidden sugars, seed oils, and starches. Starches are worse on your blood sugar than actual sugar. Many products that contain starches have 0 sugars listed in the nutrition facts.
Sun, 07 Jul 2024 - 05min - 10929 - Dry Fasting Causes 3X More Fat Loss
Today, I’m going to share some of the amazing benefits of dry fasting and water fasting. There are over 50 genes that protect us from famine and drought and produce many health benefits. Fasting can help you lose weight, burn fat, and live longer. It helps improve cardiovascular health and can improve your blood sugars.
A study involving birds compared birds who ate food and drank water, birds who only drank water, and birds who were essentially dry fasting as they flew across the desert. The group of dry-fasting birds generated 6 times more water than the group of birds that drank water! The dry-fasting birds also burned more fat.
When fat is burned with oxygen from the air, it turns into water. The idea that we need massive amounts of water was developed from a campaign that terrified us of dehydration! You don’t need to overdo it with water; you just need to drink when you’re thirsty.
Dry fasting is a useful tool for weight loss, but you want to ensure you do it correctly for the most fasting benefits. Follow a low-carb diet for a while before trying dry fasting. Once your body is adapted to fat burning, you’ll find that fasting is much easier.
Try water fasting before attempting dry fasting. If you’re water fasting, you can consume water, electrolytes, supplements, and sea salt. If you’re dry fasting, you don’t consume anything.
One day of dry fasting is equal to three days of water fasting! Dry fasting turns off digestion and allows the kidneys time to rest, allowing your body to switch into repair mode.
After your fast, begin eating gradually. Kefir and bone broth are good choices to break your fast.

Sat, 06 Jul 2024 - 03min - 10928 - I Had NO Idea This Spiked Blood Sugar
Justin Richard has collected a wealth of information using a continuous glucose monitor to experiment with different foods and their effect on his blood sugar. He explains how monitoring your glucose can help you stay healthy, too!
Justin has a family history of type 2 diabetes, so he wanted to learn more about insulin resistance to prevent the same fate. He noticed his energy levels diminishing in his late 40s, especially after eating certain foods, so he began using a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) to investigate.
When he first experimented with the CGM, Justin followed his typical diet, which consisted of many highly processed foods. These foods elevated his blood sugar, and it remained elevated for quite some time.
Anytime you eat, especially carbs, your blood sugar rises. Depending on the type of food, you'll experience either a slight or dramatic rise.
Justin was surprised by the effect white flour, bread, and whole wheat bread had on his blood sugar. He explains that there is a minimal difference between white bread and whole wheat products when it comes to blood sugar. Ezekiel bread has the lowest impact on Justin’s blood sugar.
Justin explains that stress and lack of sleep significantly increase his fasting blood glucose. Eating close to bedtime leaves his blood sugar high for 6 to 7 hours.
Justin recommends eating carbs with protein, fat, and fiber. This slows down the rate of digestion, lowering the blood sugar spike after eating. Apple cider vinegar mixed in water also slows digestion and significantly lowers a blood sugar spike.
Justin suggests these tips to eliminate bad food choices and bad eating habits:
1. Don’t go to the grocery store hungry
2. Say no to junk food at the grocery store
3. Go for a walk after a large meal
4. Don’t consume sweets after a meal or when you wake up
Justin uses a Signos continuous glucose monitoring device and highly recommends it!

Fri, 05 Jul 2024 - 38min - 10927 - REAL Reason You’re Not Losing Weight
Today, I’m going to share some of the not-so-common reasons why you might be struggling to lose weight.
Insulin is at the heart of a slow metabolism. Insulin is triggered by sugar and other foods that act as sugar in the body. Ultra-processed foods like chips and Cheez-Its have 0 sugars but contain carbs with very little fiber. They also contain starches—strings of sugars connected together.
Starches act like sugar in the body, but worse! They are higher on the glycemic index, so they cause a higher blood sugar spike than sugar. Seed oils can also cause problems with insulin, affecting weight loss. Stress and lack of sleep can also affect weight loss.
So, how do you fix an insulin problem?
•Reduce sugar and starch consumption
•Stop snacking
•Exercise
•Get more sleep
It takes 24-48 hours to get into ketosis. If you have a glass of wine one night and then just one piece of bread the next, you are not going to be in ketosis.
Sometimes, your eating plan is working, and you just don’t know it yet. If your hunger is gone and your energy levels are high, your diet is working; you just need to give it more time.
Overtraining, poor sleep quality, and certain medications can also interfere with weight loss.
The following natural solutions can help reduce insulin and boost weight loss:
•Berberine
•Apple cider vinegar (ACV)–1 tablespoon in a glass of water
•Vitamin D–10,000 IU or a half hour of sunlight daily
•Healthy Keto diet with intermittent fasting
Once you’ve adjusted to 16-hour fasting and an 8-hour eating window, try switching to an 18-hour fasting window with a 6-hour eating window. You can even work up to 23 hours of fasting with a 1-hour eating window to boost weight loss.
Dry fasting can also speed up weight loss. Don’t eat or drink anything from sunrise to sunset for 12 hours of dry fasting.

Mon, 01 Jul 2024 - 06min - 10926 - Milk Can Kill You?!
Many people believe that raw milk is the number one cause of pathogens in dairy, but is it the raw milk itself causing the problem, or is it contaminated milk? It's important to remember that just because something is pasteurized doesn't automatically make it safe.
It's also important to understand that E. coli is not just found in raw milk but can be present in pasteurized milk, too. In fact, we all have E. coli bacteria in our gut right now, which helps with digestion. The problem arises when certain strains of E. coli become pathogenic due to unsanitary conditions on the farm where the milk is produced.
This is why knowing where you're getting your dairy products from is crucial, and ensuring that the farm follows strict hygiene protocols. If proper precautions are taken and the farm is clean, raw milk can be a beneficial option.
One of the main benefits of consuming raw milk and raw milk cheese is that they contain enzymes that aid digestion. For example, lactase helps break down lactose (milk sugar) making it easier to digest for those intolerant to lactose. Raw dairy products also contain probiotic-friendly bacteria that support our immune system and gut health.
Research has shown that children who consume raw milk have lower incidences of asthma, allergies, ear infections, and respiratory infections than those who consume pasteurized milk.
Choosing high-quality raw dairy products from grass-fed cows also provides additional benefits, such as higher levels of essential minerals, including calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which can aid in weight loss and have anti-inflammatory effects.
Of course, it's important to research and purchase grass-fed raw dairy products from a reputable source that prioritizes cleanliness.
Sun, 30 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10925 - This Can't Be Real...Magic
Today, I’m going to share step-by-step instructions for an amazing technique that's one of the best sore throat remedies I've found. To perform this technique, find the area of dysfunction and work on the opposite side. This remedy seems to work by affecting the fascia in the back of the neck to create space in the front. This also allows you to control the pitch and volume of speaking and singing more easily. Here’s how to relieve a sore throat step-by-step: 1. Locate where the problem is 2. Draw a circle to the same spot on the opposite side of the neck 3. Press with 2 fingers on the spot while holding the head 4. Hold for 1 to 2 minutes Find the most tender spot! Assess if the tenderness moved up or down after implementing the technique. If so, try again on the most tender area. This sore throat remedy helps improve circulation and space in the area. You can even perform this on yourself with my special tool!
Sat, 29 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10924 - Eat This For HASHIMOTO'S (Slow Thyroid)
Today, I’m going to tell you why two Brazil nuts each day may help with hypothyroid conditions. Most hypothyroid conditions are really Hashimoto’s disease, which is an autoimmune condition.
14 million people are diagnosed with Hashimoto’s each year in the US alone. Hashimoto’s puts you at risk for developing other types of autoimmune disease.
Selenium is a trace mineral needed in very small amounts. It’s involved in over 25 different genes related to antioxidants. It also has potent anti-inflammatory effects.
Selenium-rich foods include seafood, shellfish, organ meats, and Brazil nuts. Brazil nuts have the highest concentrations of selenium. Two Brazil nuts each day give you 200 mcg of selenium. Several randomized controlled trials found that selenium reduces the antibodies that attack the thyroid.
When thyroid-stimulating hormone increases, it does not connect with the thyroid, leading to a hypothyroid condition. Selenium can also help with this condition.
If you have Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, lots of hydrogen peroxide is generated. Selenium helps to neutralize hydrogen peroxide. Selenium helps control the T helper cells, which orchestrate your immune response. It also feeds the T-reg cells, which help prevent autoimmune diseases.
Your brain, immune system, and reproductive system depend heavily on selenium, so sometimes, there’s not much left for the thyroid to function correctly. This may lead to Hashimoto’s symptoms, which include feeling tired, cold, weight gain, hair loss, and brittle hair.
Try eating two to four Brazil nuts daily to support your thyroid gland's health. Don’t do more than that because it’s possible to overdo it with selenium. In addition to selenium, ensure you’re getting enough sunlight or consume high doses of vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 can help regulate an overactive immune system.
Fri, 28 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10923 - 6 Ways to RUIN Your Fasting Benefits
In this podcast, I’m going to tell you how to fast correctly for the most fasting benefits without any negative side effects. Fasting CAN help you live longer!
Fasting activates longevity genes, which reduce inflammation and help improve conditions like diabetes and prediabetes. They also protect the cells against disease.
Avoid making these 6 fasting mistakes that can destroy your results.
1. Fasting for too long
There are 2 types of fasting: intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting. Pay attention to how you feel when fasting. If you don't feel well, the fasting pattern is not right for you. You have to build up to a prolonged fast, and you don’t have to do OMAD to get fasting benefits.
2. Not getting enough dietary protein
The type and amount of protein in your diet are very important. Animal protein is the best! Red meat, eggs, lamb, fish, seafood, and organic pasture-raised chicken are the best sources of dietary protein.
When you do OMAD, your body becomes more efficient, and the requirement for protein decreases.
3. Avoiding cholesterol
You need cholesterol, especially when fasting. Cholesterol is needed to make hormones, tissues, bile acid, and more—so you need plenty of it! Egg yolks, liver, and shellfish are the best sources of cholesterol.
4. Forcing an intermittent fasting pattern that doesn’t work for you
Let your body tell you which fasting pattern will work for you. Pay attention to how you feel.
5. Too much exercise while fasting
For some people, exercising while fasting causes too much stress on the body. This can make it difficult to recover and cause muscle loss.
6. Not getting enough sleep can minimize the benefits of fasting.
Mon, 24 Jun 2024 - 04min - 10922 - 6 DEVASTATING Vitamin Deficiencies
Today, we’ll discuss the importance of nutritional deficiencies. In modern medicine, many health problems are labeled “idiopathic” when they actually stem from nutritional deficiency.
These 6 devastating health conditions can be the result of nutritional deficiencies.
1. Neurasthenia
This is a condition in which your nervous system and brain are depleted, causing fatigue and mood problems. Vitamin B3 in the form of niacin can help with this problem. Try taking 500 mg for 3 days, gradually increasing to 1000 mg daily. Also, make sure you follow a healthy diet!
2. Tourette syndrome
Tourette syndrome is characterized by sudden involuntary movements and verbal outbursts. It may also be the result of a vitamin B3 deficiency. Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, is a potential solution for Tourette syndrome symptoms. Try taking 500 to 1000 mg of niacinamide per day.
3. Persecutory delusions
Persecutory delusions consist of various mental symptoms caused by a nutritional deficiency. Feeling that you will be harmed or mistreated, apathy, disorganized thoughts, lack of clarity, lack of focus, and hallucinations are the most common symptoms of this condition. Persecutory delusions may be caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency.
4. Restless legs syndrome
This condition is characterized by the urge to move your legs, especially when sleeping. This is either caused by a vitamin B1 deficiency or an iron deficiency. If you have an iron deficiency, your palms, inner eyelids, and nail beds will likely be pale.
5. Panic, anxiety, worry
These symptoms are typically worse when you’re going to bed. Constant panic, anxiety, and worry are often caused by a vitamin B1 deficiency, which is usually caused by consuming too many carbs.
6. Sensation of impending doom
This is a mental problem that makes you feel like something bad is going to happen. It can be caused by a vitamin D3 deficiency. Try taking 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day for a few months.
Sun, 23 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10921 - You Need to Take More of This
Daily dosing of vitamin D is crucial.
Here are the top symptoms of vitamin D deficiency:
1. High blood pressure
2. Lowered mood
3. Inflammation
4. Weak immune system
5. Sleep problems
6. Skin issues
7. Low back pain or muscle pain
Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins for overall health. It’s essential to make sure you’re getting enough. Unless you’re taking vitamin D or are getting plenty of sunshine every 24 hours—you’re likely vitamin D deficient.
We also have to consider the factors that hinder vitamin D levels, such as:
• Obesity
• Insulin resistance
• Diabetes
• Lack of sun exposure
• Lack of vitamin D in the diet
• Aging
Consider taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily. If you’re worried about vitamin D toxicity, keep in mind that if you go out in the sun for only 30 to 45 minutes, you’re getting about 20,000 IU of vitamin D, so 10,000 IU is not much for your body to handle.
You should also get plenty of magnesium, zinc, vitamin K2, and boron when you take vitamin D.
Sat, 22 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10920 - How To CLEAN Your LIVER in 3 Days!
Today, I’m going to show you how to cleanse your liver in just three days.
I’ve tested many different liver cleanses, and most have left me sick in bed. But what I’m going to share today is different.
This natural liver cleanse is also different from the liver detoxes and liver cleanses I’ve mentioned in the past, like apple cider vinegar, lemon, or ginger—it’s even better.
To support and speed up liver detoxification, we need to trigger autophagy.
The best ways to trigger autophagy:
1. Dry fasting
2. Water fasting
3. Calorie restriction
4. Sleep
5. Exercise
6. Keto diet
7. Phytonutrients
Dry fasting is one of the most powerful ways to trigger autophagy and truly cleanse the liver cells.
With dry fasting, you don’t consume any food or water. To cleanse the liver, you may want to consider dry fasting for a full day—starting at sunrise and ending at sunset.
The effects of just one day of dry fasting are equivalent to three days of water fasting.
Additional benefits of dry fasting:
• Enhanced immunity
• Liver and kidney support
• Mental clarity
• Decreased inflammation
When the sun sets, you’ll eat your one meal for the day, which should consist of meat and cruciferous vegetables. These foods are also great for cleaning the liver.
Try dry fasting for three days of the month (they don't need to be consecutive) and see how you feel.
Before you start dry fasting, take bile salts or TUDCA, consume beets, or drink apple cider vinegar with water to help thin your bile. This can help prevent any negative liver detox side effects.
Fri, 21 Jun 2024 - 08min - 10919 - Everyone IGNORES This Part of Their Body
In this podcast, I’ll share 9 fascinating facts about fascia and the secret to keeping it healthy.
1. Fascia is the material that surrounds every muscle in the body.
2. Fascia gives the body posture and shape.
3. Fascia adapts to the environment.
4. Cells of the fascia or collagen are called fibroblasts. You have billions of these cells that can migrate through the body and lay down ground substance to allow lubrication and movement.
5. Fascia is highly involved with immune function. Myofascial release, massage, and trigger point therapy can help improve inflammatory conditions of the fascia, such as fibromyalgia and plantar fasciitis.
6. Fascia is stiffened by lack of movement. People often assume they have stiff muscles when they really have stiff fascia.
7. Your fascia extends throughout your entire body and is connected from head to toe. This is why you can often relieve pain associated with tight or inflamed fascia by fascial manipulation in other related parts of the body.
8. Fascia is innervated by tiny nerves that allow the body to know where it is in space, so it’s critical for balance and coordination.
9. Fascia can change in material properties and go from being very rigid to very elastic.
Dynamic motions in different directions can help restore fascia, so don’t do the same stretches and exercises repeatedly! High doses of vitamin D3, along with the cofactors vitamin K2, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B6, also support your fascia's health.
Mon, 17 Jun 2024 - 06min - 10918 - Your Waist Size Is IMPORTANT!
In this podcast, I’m going to tell you why your waist circumference is more important than your weight. A woman’s waist should be less than 35 inches, and a man’s should be less than 40 inches. Every inch increases the risk of premature death.
Visceral fat is fat that surrounds the organs and has several negative health consequences, including the following:
•Sends signals to increase inflammation in the body
•Contributes to insulin resistance
•Hard to detect
•2x-3x greater risk for heart disease
•Increases risk of cancer, especially of the breast and colon
Visceral fat is not the same as subcutaneous fat. Visceral fat is hormonal fat caused by cortisol or insulin. Consuming carbohydrates and frequent eating can spike insulin, leading to visceral fat.
After menopause, women often lose their waistline due to a shift in hormones. Estrogen and progesterone decrease while cortisol increases. This also contributes to a loss of muscle mass.
Body mass index (BMI) is not the best indicator of your overall health because it doesn’t reflect whether a person has significant muscle mass or fat.
Some belly fat looks like visceral fat but is actually related to cirrhosis of the liver.
Sun, 16 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10917 - DON'T DO THIS IF YOU'RE OVER 50!!!
Today, I’m going to tell you about the best and the worst supplements to take as you age.
Let’s start with iron supplements. Our bodies do not have a good way of eliminating excess iron, which can damage the liver. Too much iron can increase your risk of infection and also deplete zinc. Donating blood can help eliminate excess iron.
If you have anemia, the best sources of iron are red meat, liver, grass-fed liver pills, or spleen extract.
Many people consume too much calcium, which can build up in the arteries and kidneys.
Synthetic vitamin A can cause damage to the liver, osteoporosis, and increased intracranial pressure.
Best vitamins to take as you age:
1. Vitamin C
2. Vitamin B3
3. Magnesium
4. Vitamin D
5. Vitamin K1
6. Vitamin K2
While most synthetic vitamins should be avoided, synthetic vitamin C can be beneficial under certain circumstances.
Sat, 15 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10916 - The Reason You Feel Bloated
Today, we’re going to talk about bloating, the number one symptom associated with a leaky gut. If you have a leaky gut, you have crevices and holes in your gut where food particles and substances can travel through without a stamp of approval from the immune system.
For example, if you have a leaky gut and egg protein gets through, your immune system will respond as if it’s a virus, bacteria, or pathogen. The next time you eat eggs, you could have an immune reaction.
If you have a leaky gut, you’ll notice new food allergies along with the following symptoms:
•Inflammation
•Joint pain
•Skin reactions (e.g. psoriasis, dermatitis)
•Headaches
The most damaging side effect of a leaky gut is the development of autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s.
To get rid of bloating, you’ll need to address the cause of a leaky gut. Check out the 7 most common causes of a leaky gut:
1. Vitamin D deficiency
2. Seed oils
3. Raw vegetables
4. Lectins
5. Fiber
6. Sugar
7. Gluten
Even if you correct your diet, you must ensure you have enough vitamin D to fix your leaky gut. Get plenty of sun without burning, or take 20,000 IU of vitamin D every day.
Glutamine is crucial for gut health. Red meat is the best source of glutamine. Cabbage, bone broth, eggs, and kefir are also good sources. Zinc is also important for gut health. Oysters, shellfish, seafood, and sea kelp are the best sources. Fasting gives your digestive system a chance to rest and repair if you have a leaky gut.
Fri, 14 Jun 2024 - 04min - 10915 - The BIGGEST LIE About Food
Let's talk about the truth about saturated fat and cholesterol.
Cholesterol is a type of fat made by the liver that's used to make cell membranes, hormones, and vitamin D.
Saturated fat is a type of fat that stays solid at room temperature, while unsaturated fat is liquid at room temperature. Coconut oil is 87% saturated fat, and lard is 47% saturated fat.
Dietary cholesterol has little effect on total cholesterol. Your body makes about 80% of your cholesterol. If you consume more cholesterol, your body will make less. If you consume less cholesterol, your body will make more.
It's okay to consume steak, lard, and butter. Cholesterol is only bad when combined with things like sugar, smoking, trans fats, and seed oils.
Mon, 10 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10914 - Aneurysms: The Silent Killer
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about aneurysms. There are typically no early aneurysm symptoms or signs, so they often occur without warning.
An aneurysm is a bulging dilation of the vascular system. There are no symptoms until it ruptures, leading to a hole in the artery. If this occurs in the brain, it’s known as a brain aneurysm, which can cause a stroke.
Aneurysms can occur in the brain (brain aneurysm, intracranial aneurysm, cerebral aneurysm), around the heart and aorta (aortic aneurysm), in the kidney, and in other areas of the body. The thumb-to-palm test can indicate if you are at a higher risk of an aneurysm.
Some common aneurysm causes include the following:
•Smoking (4x greater risk)
•Chronic alcohol use
•Diabetes
•High sugar intake
•Seed oil consumption
•Dental bacteria
Anything that causes chronic inflammation or oxidation can weaken your arterial system and contribute to an aneurysm.
Consider any related health concerns to prevent aneurysms and support blood vessel health. If you have high blood pressure, increase your potassium, magnesium, and vitamin D intake. A low-carb diet can also help lower your blood pressure.
Sometimes, a copper deficiency can cause an aneurysm. Copper is necessary to help your body build collagen.
Here are a few other ways to prevent aneurysms:
• Avoid inflammatory foods
• Consume antioxidants
• Consume foods with omega-3s
• Increase vitamin D
• Exercise regularly
Sun, 09 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10913 - 1 in 4 People Have This!!
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the best remedy to support your liver health. It takes many years of damage before you’ll notice toxic liver symptoms. Some of the most common toxic liver symptoms include the following:
• Yellow eyes
• Yellow skin
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Red dots on the skin
• Fatigue
One of the best toxic liver remedies is NAC (N-acetyl cysteine). This remedy helps counter the effects of alcohol, smoking, drugs like ibuprofen, chemotherapy, radiation, and chemicals found in the environment, such as herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, and fungicides.
NAC helps to replenish glutathione, a potent antioxidant that helps counter free radical damage.
NAC enhances phase 1 and phase 2 detoxification in the liver. This process takes fat-soluble poisons and turns them into harmless water-soluble particles. NAC regenerates liver tissue and prevents liver cell self-destruction.
NAC is helpful if you take medication, drink alcohol, smoke, or if you’re exposed to any other types of toxicity.
To make NAC more potent, try the following:
1. Take on an empty stomach
2. Take several doses daily
3. Take it with vitamin C and selenium
4. Consume a high-protein meal after taking NAC
In addition to consuming adequate animal proteins, incorporate more cruciferous vegetables into your diet to help support the liver.
Sat, 08 Jun 2024 - 04min - 10912 - Why You Can't SLEEP! Simple Fix
In this podcast, I’m going to tell you how to sleep better at night. Many people suffer from numerous sleep issues and disturbances, such as trouble getting to sleep, frequent waking to urinate, sleep apnea, and restless leg syndrome.
Vitamin D can improve all of these sleep issues. Not only can it improve sleep quality, but it can also improve gut health and immune function.
Vitamin D works synergistically with magnesium, which improves cramping, restless leg syndrome, heart palpitations, and high cortisol levels. If you're taking magnesium for these issues and it's not working, it could be because you need vitamin D. Vitamin D is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatories.
Sleep, diet, and exercise are vital for your health, with sleep at the top of the list. The nerves in the hypothalamus that control sleep are full of vitamin D receptors. If you’re obese, diabetic, or aging, your need for vitamin D dramatically increases.
Less than 40 ng/mL of vitamin D can negatively affect your health. Vitamin D levels should be between 70 and 100 ng/mL or more for therapeutic benefit.
Blood tests detect the inactive form of vitamin D and can’t tell you if vitamin D is reaching your cells. Try taking at least 30,000 IUs of vitamin D3 for better sleep, and remember to consume plenty of water daily. Cut down on dairy to limit calcium intake and take vitamin K2, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B6, the cofactors of vitamin D.
For better sleep, try the following sleeping tips:
•Take vitamin D with cofactors at the last meal of the day
•Make sure the room is cool
•Avoid electronics and bright lights 2 hours before bed

Fri, 07 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10911 - STOP Aging and Look YOUNGER!
In this podcast, I’m going to tell you how to slow down aging so you can look younger and live longer. The mitochondria are the body's energy factory. The health and function of your mitochondria directly correlate to aging and longevity.
The Krebs cycle is a process in your body that starts with food and ends with energy. It requires nutrients or cofactors to work properly. NAD is a vital nutrient involved in extracting energy from food to make ATP, and it’s critical for longevity and anti-aging.
NAD prevents muscle loss, especially in cancer patients, and protects against radiation. As we age, NAD decreases. Researchers have found that CD38 depletes NAD, and mice with less CD38 tend to live longer.
Here are 5 compounds that boost NAD to help slow aging:
1. Apigenin
Parsley is the best source, but it’s also found in thyme, oregano, basil, and celery.
2. Anthoxanthin
Consume blueberries and other blue, purple, or red foods such as elderberry, concord grapes, and purple potato.
3. Curcumin
This is found in turmeric.
4. Quercetin
The best source is onion, and the most is found in the outer part. You can also find quercetin in apple skin.
5. Methylene blue
This was the first medical drug ever invented. It seems to be a good inhibitor of CD38, which can help boost NAD.
Wed, 05 Jun 2024 - 04min - 10910 - Your Body is Trying to Warn You!!
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about 5 warning signs you definitely shouldn’t normalize!
1. There are many reasons for chronic fatigue, including the following:
•Anemia (Low B12 or iron deficiency)
•Low vitamin B1
•Tick bites
•Liver disease
•Heart disease
•Autoimmune disease
Vitamins will not have a significant impact unless you correct your diet. Although unlikely, there’s a chance that chronic fatigue could be related to something more serious like cancer.
2. Sudden weight loss is associated with hyperthyroidism, type 1 diabetes, Addison’s disease, and parasites.
3. Persistent weakness can be caused by anemia, sodium deficiency, low magnesium, low potassium, and low vitamin E.
4. Diarrhea is usually caused by food poisoning or food that your body doesn’t agree with, but chronic diarrhea is different. Chronic diarrhea can be caused by the following:
•Low zinc
•Medication
•IBS
•Poor diet
•Parasites
A potent probiotic taken for a long time can often help fix this problem.
5. Persistent stomach pain usually subsides when you improve your diet and eliminate junk food. If this doesn’t work, you could have a gallstone or kidney stone. Persistent stomach pain can also be caused by SIBO, a condition where bacteria is in the small intestine instead of the large. Intermittent fasting, garlic, and betaine hydrochloride can help.
Appendicitis, parasites, and ulcers can cause persistent stomach pain. Gallbladder sludge can back up into the pancreas and cause pancreatitis and stomach pain. The best remedy for bile sludge is TUDCA. Rarely, persistent stomach pain could mean cancer.
Tue, 04 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10909 - The Worst Food for Your Teeth Is NOT SUGAR
Our diet plays a crucial role in maintaining our overall health, including the health of our teeth and gums. Certain foods can lead to tooth enamel erosion, causing dental problems such as cavities, decay, and sensitivity.
Here are some of the worst foods you should avoid for your teeth:
• Diet soda
• Candy
• Powdered starches
• Liquid sugar containing high-fructose corn syrup
• Soda with phosphoric acid
• Gummy bears and caramels
But out of all these, the worst food for your teeth is not sugar but citric acid!
Citric acid is a common ingredient in many processed foods and drinks, including fruit juices, diet sodas, and even some toothpaste. Despite being found naturally in fruits like lemons and limes, the citric acid used in processed products is often synthetically made.
Citric acid is a powerful calcium chelator, which means it binds with calcium and pulls it out of teeth. This can lead to erosion and demineralization of teeth, causing them to weaken and become more susceptible to cavities.
The pH of citric acid is also a contributing factor. While the ideal pH in the mouth is slightly above 7 (neutral or slightly alkaline), citric acid has a lower pH of around 3 to 6, making it even more damaging.
The worst type of citric acid for teeth is trisodium citrate, also known as sodium citrate. It's commonly found in many processed products and is a major contributor to tooth erosion.
So what can you do to protect your teeth from the harmful effects of citric acid?
• Rinse your mouth with water after consuming anything
• Check labels carefully and opt for products without synthetic citric acid
• Use toothpaste that does not contain citric acid, or make your own at home using natural ingredients

Mon, 03 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10908 - Do Chia Seeds Have ANY Benefits?!
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about some of the health benefits of chia seeds.
Omega-3s have many benefits, including supporting heart health. Salmon and sardines are among the best omega-3 sources, but what about chia seeds? It’s been said that chia seeds are a better source of omega-3s if you compare them gram for gram, but they don’t contain DHA. Chia seeds contain ALA, and only 0.5% converts into DHA.
Chia seeds have also been compared to eggs. An egg contains around 7 grams of protein, while chia seeds contain 4 grams. The protein found in eggs is the most bioavailable form of protein.
Chia seeds contain vitamin E, vitamin C, B vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Research suggests that chia seeds are cardioprotective, help lower blood pressure, benefit your brain, and can even help thin your blood.
Chia seeds contain soluble fiber, which is the most significant benefit of consuming them.
To make a healthy chia pudding:
1. Mix 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with ½ cup of milk or unsweetened almond milk.
2. Stir the mixture until the seeds swell and form a gel.
3. Add kefir, berries, Greek yogurt, coconut cream, or nuts.
The gel that forms when you mix chia seeds with liquid is an excellent food for your microbiome. Chia seeds can help with gut inflammation and constipation. They’re also very low in lectins.
Chia seed gel contains polyphenols—plant chemicals that benefit your microbes. A healthy microbiome supports your mood, energy levels, and overall health. Consume chia seeds, fermented vegetables, sauerkraut, pickles, and kimchi regularly for a healthy microbiome.
Sun, 02 Jun 2024 - 03min - 10907 - Is Being Deaf Reversible?!
Today, we’re going to talk about resolving hearing loss with nutrients. Viruses and nutritional deficiencies are the leading causes of hearing loss.
When you experience an acute infection, there is an initial dramatic decrease in zinc and iron. Both are related to hearing loss. Viruses can also cause selenium deficiency. Selenium is important in converting T4 to T3 and supports the T-helper cell, which coordinates the entire immune system.
Diabetes can damage the sensory nerves in the ear and cause hearing impairment. This is known as diabetic autonomic neuropathy. Hearing loss associated with diabetes results from severe vitamin B1 deficiency.
Vitamin B1 is the key nutrient supporting the autonomic nervous system; if you’re diabetic, you’re likely deficient. Take benfotiamine, a form of B1 that can penetrate the myelin sheath, for hearing loss associated with diabetes.
Vitamin D plays a critical role in protecting against autoimmune conditions. Many autoimmune conditions, such as autoimmune inner ear disease, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis, can cause hearing impairment.
If the small bones inside your ear are damaged, you could develop hearing loss. Adequate potassium levels are vital for hearing.

Sat, 01 Jun 2024 - 05min - 10906 - What Exercise Burns the Most Calories?
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the best exercise for calorie burning.
The type of calories you burn depends on your diet and exercise habits. If you consume sugar, you’re going to burn sugar calories. If you consume fat without sugar, you’ll burn fat.
Avoid overtraining, which increases cortisol and can deplete protein from your muscles.
Calorie burning largely depends on the health of your mitochondria. Your energy levels, recovery time, and endurance can indicate whether your mitochondria are healthy. Certain medications like statins weaken the mitochondria.
To increase and strengthen your mitochondria, do the following:
• Exercise with adequate rest
• Focus on thyroid health
• Increase muscle mass
• Intermittent fasting
• Cold therapy
• Consume meat
Metabolomics can examine mitochondria to determine whether they’re getting enough fuel. Insulin resistance can destroy mitochondria. Growth hormone can reduce insulin resistance, help you build more muscle, and burn more fat.
If your diet is too high in carbs, you won’t be able to burn fat. This is why it’s essential to look beyond calorie burning. Fat burning is only 15% exercise and 85% diet. The type of exercise that will help you burn the most calories is something that is high-intensity and involves as many muscles as possible.

Fri, 31 May 2024 - 11min - 10905 - Why Sea Moss Is Going VIRAL!
Sea moss and sea kelp are both types of seaweed that grow underwater and have similar nutritional value. People have used sea moss on their skin and internally to help with digestion and inflammation.
Sea moss contains various nutrients, including amino acids, fiber, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and phytonutrients.
One of the standout features of sea moss and other types of seaweed is its high mineral content. This includes trace minerals, which are essential for our health but needed in small amounts.
Trace minerals are crucial in activating enzymes and proteins that aid in various bodily functions. For example, selenium is essential for converting the inactive form of thyroid hormone (T4) to its active form (T3) and supporting immune function.
Sea moss is also a great source of iodine. Iodine is crucial for thyroid health and helps regulate estrogen levels in women.
Unfortunately, most land-grown produce lacks trace minerals. To get enough of these essential minerals, we need to consume foods grown near the ocean or directly from the sea itself.
Some forms of seaweed, including sea moss, contain carrageenan. While this ingredient has been linked to digestive issues, it’s important to distinguish between naturally occurring carrageenan found in sea moss and the artificially added version found in processed foods.
Thu, 30 May 2024 - 04min - 10904 - Is This Why You’re Stressed or Not Sleeping?
Today, I’m going to tell you how to reverse magnesium deficiency. It’s very difficult to test for magnesium deficiency. Around 60% of your magnesium is in your bones, 39% in your soft tissue, and only 1% in your blood. A blood test is not a reliable way to determine if you have low magnesium.
Magnesium deficiency can be caused by the following factors:
• Diet
• Gut inflammation
• Diabetes
• Insulin resistance
• Excessive sugar consumption
• Vitamin D without magnesium
• Medications (antibiotics, PPIs, antacids, diuretics)
Symptoms of magnesium deficiency can include:
• Tetany
• Tight muscles
• Insomnia (sleep problems)
• Anxiety
• Fatigue
• Nystagmus
• Migraines
• Kidney stones
You need magnesium to make ATP, the “energy currency” of the body. Magnesium deficiency can also lead to calcium buildup.
Here are some of the foods that have the most magnesium per 100 grams/3.5 ounces:
1. Sea kelp: 760 mg of magnesium
2. Almonds: 490 mg of magnesium
3. Nutritional yeast: 231 mg of magnesium
4. Pecans: 142 mg of magnesium
5. Leafy greens: 100 mg of magnesium
6. Dark chocolate: 165 mg of magnesium
7. Pumpkin seeds: 265 mg of magnesium
8. Meat and fish: 25 to 35 mg of magnesium
The RDA for magnesium is 300 to 420 mg, and the average person only consumes 215 mg. If you have magnesium deficiency, increase your intake of magnesium-rich foods and supplement with 800 mg of magnesium glycinate.
It can take up to a year to fix a chronic magnesium deficiency, but you might find that your low magnesium symptoms go away in a few weeks or months. After you’ve increased magnesium levels with supplements, you can maintain it with your diet.
Always ensure you consume at least 400 mg of magnesium daily.

Wed, 29 May 2024 - 06min - 10903 - Watch This If You Can't Go Number 2
When your diet is filled with processed foods and lacking essential nutrients, it can lead to constipation.
The most common type of constipation is primary constipation, in which constipation is the primary issue rather than being caused by a tumor or obstruction. The first line of treatment for constipation like this is often a petroleum-based medication called polyethylene glycol, but it can cause other problems.
Microbes are vital in breaking down fiber and supporting healthy digestion. When our diet lacks these beneficial microbes, it can lead to problems such as bloating, cramping, and constipation.
The first step is to practice intermittent fasting by eating only two meals daily with no snacks. This gives the digestive system a chance to rest and catch up.
The second step is fixing your diet by simplifying meals and avoiding processed and refined foods. This also includes incorporating grass-fed meat, fermented foods, including sauerkraut, to provide beneficial microbes for a healthy gut. Following a Healthy Keto® diet is also beneficial.
The third step is supplementing with betaine hydrochloride to increase stomach acid and improve digestion. This can also help alleviate constipation by lubricating the colon with bile.
In addition to these steps, consuming plants raised on healthy soils can provide essential nutrients and beneficial microbes for a healthy gut. Magnesium and vitamin B1 can help promote regular bowel movements. Castor oil and senna are also good natural remedies for constipation.
