Igbo Pelican is a youth movement with the Igbo young people as target audience. The paramount goal of this programme is to help teach Igbo as a language to the upcoming young Igbo minds especially those in the diaspora. This will help them play an active role in revitalization and maintenance of the Igbo Language. Our mission is to see that the Igbo Language even with this little but impactful means grows relentlessly everyday following the footsteps of our pioneer Igbo scholars who have created a path we wish to become an established path for posterity.

This episode is based on vowel harmony which describes the division of the Igbo vowels into two; using the advancement of the tongue root feature out of the four phonetic qualities for division of these vowels. Also, the issue of /a/ as an opaque vowel was discussed and a further research by Nwaozuzu (2005) was highlighted as she proposed root control and the extension of vowel harmony to complex words.
