When Faith Meets UFOs: A Christian Perspective on The Immaculate Constellation For many Christians, UFO sightings present an intriguing problem. Are they real? And if so, what are they? It hasn't helped that for decades, the U.S. government dismissed reports of unidentified flying objects, labeling witnesses as delusional or fabricating stories. Yet, in recent years, with the rise of recorded evidence—saucers, glowing orbs, mysterious lights, and unexplained visitations—the narrative has started to shift. Could the tide be turning because of what's been caught on camera? And what should we make of the recent whistleblower claims about a government program called The Immaculate Constellation? What is this program’s purpose, and more importantly, who or what is controlling it—or hiding it from the world. On this episode of The Parker J. Cole show, join me as I chat with my guest co-host and contributor Zackary Russel, co-host of Fantastical Truth as we discuss the odd, the weird, the blessed, and the secret things surrounding this topic.

Sat, 07 Sep 2024 - 1h 14min - 1678 - A Conversation with Avellina Balestri -- Write Stuff -- 9/3/2024
WRITE STUFF IS BACK! After a hiatus this year, we are back to bring you some new great reads and authors! Tonight we kick off the conversation as we chat with author Avellina Balestri about any and everything. From writing, to faith, to weird TV shows as she talks about her books and we showcase her newest release called: All Ye That Pass: Gone for a Soldier, her American Revolution novel. If you don a scarlet coat at the price of your conscience, the color will only remind you of the wound in your own soul! If you sign away the faith of your fathers, all lesser goods will be forfeited too!” Young Edmund Southworth could not have foreseen the path his life would take upon befriending Gentleman Johnny Burgoyne, British military veteran and parliamentarian. As Catholic recusants from the north of England, Edmund’s once noble family has struggled to survive for centuries in the shadow of the Anglican ascendancy. But General Burgoyne offers him the chance to put past humiliations behind him by joining the Church of England and donning a scarlet coat as an officer of King George III. Although his conscience is uneasy, Edmund embarks upon Burgoyne’s March to subdue the American revolutionaries by splitting the colonies in two. He finds unexpected love in the arms of Abby Vanderkamp, a supporter of American independence, who will do anything to free her father from a British prison hulk or, failing that, strike a blow for the hard-pressed rebel cause. As the British advance through the New York wilderness devolves into increasing brutality and instability, Edmund will have his already divided loyalties tested to the breaking point under the influence of this hostile land which presents him with new challenges and opportunities alike. Vice President Kamala Harris and the dozens of speakers that preceded her at Thursday's Democratic National Convention attacked former President Donald Trump on an array of fronts, including abortion, diplomacy and his litany of criminal charges. Not all of it was true. The USA TODAY fact check team followed along mto sort fact from fiction and add context where it was missing. In July, the Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision that presidents, including Trump, are at least partially immune from prosecution for crimes committed while in office. But the court's commited while in office. but the court's decision isn't as clear cut as Harris' remarks make it seem. It declares that "official" acts by presidents are protecte, but steps taken as a candidate are not. The ruling also leaves room for presidents to be prosecuted under a narrow set of circumstances, related to responsiblities within the outer perimeter of presidential duties, or to unofficial acts, as USA TODA Y previously reported.

He’s been warned the licentious ceremony can take a dangerous turn, but as eldest son of the high priestess, he holds a privileged position. If he can make it through the ceremony, one day he’ll rise to high priest. On the eve of the rituals, Aban’s mother confesses a dark secret about the bloody sacrifice demanded by Melqart. When the mysterious prophet Elijah interrupts the rites, overturns the idol, and curses the land with drought, Aban’s world is shaken. The Shroud of Turin has been the subject of much discussion and controversy for years because of this one thing: this cloth is purported to be the burial cloth of Christ. When I sat down to chat with my guest, Myra Khan Adam, Executive Director of National Shroud of Turin Exhibit, I had no idea that my mind would be invigorated by the discussion in such a thorough way. Studies have ranged from carbon dating to 3D image analysis, each attempting to unravel the mystery of the cloth's origins and the figure it depicts. Myra gives us well thought-out reasons why the Shroud of Turin is the Greatest Mystery. The question is this: is the image we see on this cloth the Holy Face of Jesus Christ? It’s difficult to imagine my life without books. For as long as I can remember, reading has been my form of escape, my outlet for stress, for learning, or broadening my horizons as I am exposed to new ideas, thoughts, or a pleasant trip to another world. I can’t quite wrap my mind around having a hard time reading … but today’s author had many challenges to overcome as she struggled with severe dyslexia, discouragement from others, and her own spiritual battles to emerge as my favorite type of author I love to interview … the debut novelist. At sixty-four years old, Kristena Mears has published her first book called, Under the Penalty of Death. Will running set them free or sentence them to death? Keturah idolizes her brother, Justus. He stood his ground with Abba, declaring Yeshua Messiah, resulting in Keturah’s desire to know more about Yeshua, and Abba proclaiming Justus dead to the family. Today, Keturah became a woman, but her joy ends in terror when Abba accepts an offer for her betrothal. Devising a plan to escape the arranged marriage is dangerous, but it works. Now she’s able to find her brother and live as she chooses. Every choice she makes turns into disaster. Manipulating to get her own way puts her in difficulty and danger. Women get stoned for what she is doing. What happens if Justus and her new friends see through the deception? Will her actions alienate her from her brother forever? Most of all—how much does Yahweh demand of her life? Listen in as debut novel Kristena Mears talks candidly about her journey, her book, and what the Lord has done new in her life on Tuesday, February 20th, at 7 pm Eastern, Listen in 646-668-8485. Hannah Elias, the mistress of a New York City millionaire, used the property her lover gave her to build an empire in Harlem. Orphan and and self taught chemist Annie Turnbo Malone developed the first national brand of hair care products. Mississippi school teacher O. W. Gurley developed a piece of Tulsa , Oklahoma, into a town for the wealthy black professionals and craftmens that would become known as Black Wall Street. Tue, 16 Jan 2024 - 30min - 1638 - Persecuted from Within: How the Saints Endured Crises in the Church
Many Catholics have either left the Church or been scandalized by the errors or immorality rampant in her clergy. We’ve watched as faithful Catholics have been restricted or punished without just cause, while those who confuse, contradict, or undermine the Faith are elevated. In this urgent book, the authors notice an apparent absurdity: those most disciplined by the Church at this time are often least deserving of correction. This protracted state of confusion and injustice, plain for all to see, has shaken the faith of millions. Far from being another diatribe, these pages provide a deeply illuminating historical perspective, revealing how this chaotic period in the Church is hardly unprecedented — or unpredicted. Instead, it represents a recurring feature of life in the Church throughout her history and is even a part of the divine plan. With this context, you will make sense of and discover solutions to our present suffering. You will learn: When to obey — and when to disobey — a priest or bishop; how several saints were purified and sanctified by unholy superiors What not to do when responding to the crisis of persecution in the Church How Christ both predicted and prefigured the sufferings of His Church at the hands of wicked prelates Practical ways you can respond and share the truth Achievable means to embolden your faith and remain obedient while correcting error How to talk to non-Catholics about the pandemic of filth and error in the Church ... and more! Join me as I chat with former speech writer for President Donald Trump, Alec Torres, as we air out the dirty laundry of the church to help strengthen our faith on Saturday, January 13th at 2 pm Eastern time. Tue, 09 Jan 2024 - 29min - 1635 - God's Grandeur: The Catholic Case for Intelligent Design
In an age of rising unbelief, top Catholic thinkers show how, more than ever, both science and reason affirm the words of the great Catholic poet Gerard Manley Hopkins: “The world is charged with the grandeur of God.” This book clears up common misconceptions regarding intelligent design, showing why it is an argument not from ignorance but from knowledge and how the evidence for God’s design of the natural world is growing by: exploring scientific evidence from experts in cosmology, paleontology, genetics, chemistry, and biology. Further, you will learn about the purpose of creation, transcendent beauty, and the distinctiveness of the human person. Lastly, the theology behind creation and how it reflects God’s glory and concludes with Dr. Anthony Esolen’s essay on the “symphonic order” of the universe, masterfully drawing from science, mathematics, literature, and philosophy. Also included: What the Church really teaches about evolution How neo-Thomists wrongly apply Aquinas’s thinking to evolution; Characteristics that distinguish humans from the rest of creation; Why materialistic scientists resist the Big Bang Theory; How to understand the biblical account of Creation and more! You will learn how the understanding of ancient philosophers and Aquinas regarding the mind-brain connection, coupled with modern neuroscience support intelligent design and the creation of man as not only a material being but a spiritual being. The entire book will strengthen you as never before in the belief that the world is the creation of an intelligent and intentional Designer―One whose greatest longing is for you to spend all eternity with Him. Wed, 03 Jan 2024 - 38min - 1632 - Exploring Antediluvian Fiction, Part 2 -- The Wives of Lamech
Torn between faith and forbidden romance, a beautiful descendant of Adam and Eve must overcome her troubled past to gain the respect she deserves. Headstrong and clairvoyant, Zyla struggles to find her place within her patriarchal tribe. After being rejected for her gift of foresight, she flees to the enemy clan of the murderer Cain and becomes the favored second wife of her sister's prestigious husband. Growing increasingly determined to gain renown as a seer, Zyla dares to align with dangerous spiritual powers that threaten to create a schism with her God. Will she be able to reveal her true destiny or lose faith in the Creator and forever stain her soul? In part 2 of exploring antediluvian fiction, I chatted with Jean Hoefling as she puts her spin on the first polygamous marriage mentioned in scripture with Lamech and his two wives. In exploring this niche genre, I'd read many tales but I hadn't read one from a feminine perspective like this which is introspective and focusing more on how women may have been during the time period. Exploring situations that are uniquely female, we delve into the world that once was as a woman tries to find acceptance in an impossible situation. Listen in as we chat by calling 646-668-8485. Wed, 13 Dec 2023 - 34min - 1631 - Exploring Antediluvian Fiction, Part 1 -- Thrones of the Watchers
"I will put enmity between the Serpent and the Woman, between his offspring and hers." A prophecy spoken by God Himself. Upon leaving Eden, the conflict between mankind and the Fallen was only beginning. Enmity between the children of man and the offspring of the Serpent raged from one generation to the next. The Watchers, fallen angels allied with the Serpent, came to earth to steal the daughters of man. The Watchers were worshipped as gods and corrupted humanity with forbidden knowledge. Seth is the third son of Adam and Eve. He has fought to defend his family for almost five hundred years in the bloody and savage antediluvian world. Seth longs for peace, but a new conspiracy of evil is rising. Angels, giants and men will clash as the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. Seth's skills, faith, and resolve will be tested as he fights to protect his people from annihilation at the hands of the Watchers and their monstrous offspring. I love antediluvian fiction, a niche market of Christian fiction. These authors tackle the period of time before the Great Flood. These stories range from a high-tech world such as Dan Cook's book, "Ithyanna, Last Daughter of Atlantis Book i" or THE K. G. Powderly's Noahic epic Windows of Heaven series. There's also Dennis Bailey's Army of God, simplifying the pre-Flood world from the godly line of Seth, sans any supernatural interference. From Donovan Neal's genre splitting Third Heaven Series, to J. C. Lamount's Prophecy of the Heir: Primordium, to Jeremy Richard's the Scarlet Thread: The Genesis, I've had great pleasure of showcasing these authors and others in this genre. Tue, 12 Dec 2023 - 30min - 1630 - From Glory to Glory: Finding Real Significance in an Image-Driven World
Knowing who you are is the secret to just about everything. So much of what we do and say revolves around how we see ourselves, and how we see ourselves depends on how we perceive the God. The connection might seem elusive at first, but living in victory over sin is intricately tied to our identity. When the serpent tempted Adam and Eve to “be like God,” was that not about their identity? All of the sin, death, and destruction in our world are rooted in an identity issue. The gospel, we must understand, is an identity message. God does not just provide for us a future destiny, but also a current identity. Life in this world is never ideal, but only those who know of God’s goodness and understand their significance in His eyes can break free from the commonality and corruption that plagues our planet. It is imperative that we lay hold of our identity in Christ because genuinely walking with the Lord will put us out of step with the world around us—even those we are trying to help. If we do not know who we are, we will find ourselves living for the approval of others and neglecting God’s good plans and purposes as a result! Even though the glory of God’s children is hidden to most of this world, the reality of who we become in Christ seems almost too good to be true. It is true, though, and through the eye of faith, we can discover significance, wholeness, and freedom like never before as the Almighty Creator clothes us with His glory. No earthly significance can compare. Sat, 09 Dec 2023 - 35min - 1629 - Let's Talk About It with Jenny White/Junior Rabbit Learns About Christmas.
Junior Rabbit and Papa Rabbit were in the living room reading a book entitled, "Loony the Loon and the Littered Lake." Papa said that the book was a very good book. Papa said that sometimes people are careless about where they put their garbage. What is Christmas? asked Junior. "It is a time when people rememberd the little baby who was born to save humans from their sins so they can go to heaven to be with Him after he dies." So, at Christmas time most humans start being nice to other humans no matter who they are or how they look.
Sat, 09 Dec 2023 - 1h 12min - 1628 - Corrupted Scripture and Altered Chronology: Why We Need a Biblical Reboot
In Doug Woodward's book, Rebooting the Bible: Exposing the Second Century Conspiracy to Corrupt the Scripture and Alter Biblical Chronology. The book reveals the hidden history of a Second Century A.D. rabbinic conspiracy altering the words of the Old Testament to stop the massive conversion of Jews to the Christian faith. These early alterations (ca.A.D. 90-120) sought to obscure the Bible's Messianic prophecies, concealing passages most often used by Christian evangelists proclaiming that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. The former Pharisees (cum Rabbis) reduced biblical chronology by 1,600 years, compressing the crucial events of Genesis (e.g., the Flood, the invasion of the Nephilim, and the Tower of Babel). This truncated chronology damaged the Bibless witness regarding ancient history which continues to have a vast impact on Evangelicals today. Join me as we take a look at such questions as: Is the KJV bible flawed? What's the difference between flawed and inerrant? What are the fundamentals between the masoretic texts and the Septuagint texts? What was the purpose of altering the chronology? We'll be discussing these things and more today on this episode on Wednesday, December 6th at 7 pm Eastern. You can listen in at 646-668-8485 and press one to be live on air. Thu, 07 Dec 2023 - 52min - 1627 - Characters of the Bible: Finding My Story in Their Story -- Parker J Cole Show
As we study the Bible, we may believe we are far removed from the people described on those pages. After all, many played significant roles in helping Jesus spread the gospel. Most of us find it difficultif not impossibleto picture ourselves in that disciple-type role because we are sinful and dont always make the wisest decisions. In Characters of the Bible: Finding My Stories in Their Stories, author David Waddell shares his discovery of his similarity to characters in the Bible. He found a relationship with the woman in John 8:111. He saw himself in a crowd of Pharisees urging punishment of a woman who did something they had done or wanted to do. Waddell was the woman looking for love in all the wrong places. He was the woman at the mercy of Jesus who was forgiven of all her sins without defending herself. Waddell realized the connection he had with biblical characters because like him, and like us, they were sinful. And if were truthful with ourselves, we can be mean, deceitful, conniving, and abusing, just like many people described in the Bible. Yet God used them for His purposes, and He will use us if we let Him. I love chatting with David Waddell. He always makes me laugh. His humor and the ability to laugh at himself as well show us the humor the Lord has in many situations is always wonderful to reflect upon so join me in the conversation on Wednesday, December 6th at 7:00 pm Eastern time. The war between Israel and Palestine has been called a Holy War. This conflict has been going on for years. Is this war because the terrorist group Hamas funded by Iran bombed and kidnap over 200 people from Israel or is their more than meets the eye. Sat, 11 Nov 2023 - 1h 13min - 1623 - Jenny White/ Do you avoid someone in church?
I have noticed someone in church not noticing who was speaking, but looking around and trying to see other people who they were and what their wearing. I noticed nothing. When I was in the funeral and I did not notice what people were wearing and what they were saying. I only were looking at the person lying in the coffin. In a funeral you can be very quiet and still or very nervous and loud, but either way can be one or the other.

We received an overwhelmingly positive response to our series, 'Into the Twilight Zone,' featuring my co-host, podcaster Rod Smith Jr. from the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast. Due to the overwhelming interest, I have invited him back for part two. As previously mentioned, I firmly believe that Christians should embrace the reality of the supernatural, including spiritual warfare and the hidden agendas intertwined with it. In today's episode, we delve into the possible connection between our dreams, nightmares, and artificial intelligence. We will explore how artificial intelligence may plays a role. It's a trippy episode and I hope you'll come with us for another ride on the rollercoaster into the odd, the strange, and the supernatural. Mon, 30 Oct 2023 - 31min - 1621 - Into the Twilight Zone: Near Death Encounters & Déjà vu - The Parker J Cole Show
I believe that of all faith groups, Christians should be the ones to readily accept instances of the supernatural. We serve a supernatural Lord who warns of spiritual warfare and beings that work to continue causing enmity between us and the Lord. Furthermore, the supernatural realm exists, and there are events that occur that cannot be explained by natural or material means. Should we ignore it? Today, we delve into the Twilight Zone as I converse with my guest, podcast host Rod Smith Jr. from the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast. We will discuss Near Death Encounters, déjà vu, aliens, and more. The reality is this: there are people out there who have experienced things they cannot explain. In some Christian circles, there is a complete rejection of these ideas, with some avoiding any discussion of them. What do you do when you have no one to talk to after having had an encounter with the supernatural? Furthermore, why does the Lord allow some people to experience these things? Sat, 21 Oct 2023 - 57min - 1620 - Let's Talk About It with Jenny/Why deaths soared among Black and Hispanic women?
Maternal deaths soared during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly among Black and Hispanic women, according to a study published in JAMA Network Open on Tuesday, underscoringthe vast inequalities that worsened during the crisis and the unique health issues the virus posed to pregnant people. Key facts: the number of maternal deaths in the U.S. jumped by a third (33%) after March 2020-roughly the start of the Covid-19 pandemic-compared to the two years before, according to an analysis of data from the National Center for Health Statistics. This disproportionately affected Black and Hispanic women, the researchers found, where deaths respectively increased by 40% and 74%. Among direct causes, which increased nearly 28%, records noting diabetes during pregnancy almost doubled (96%), while those noting blood pressure disorders and other pregnancy related conditions each increased by 39% and 48%.
Sat, 21 Oct 2023 - 1h 15min - 1619 - The Power of Literature -- Write Stuff -- 10/17/2023
The idea that there are people out there who don't like to read is a foreign concept to me. In my mind, how can you NOT like reading? What do you mean you hate reading? For those who don't like to read, this show is for you. I had a lovely talk with Dr. Joseph Bentz about his upcoming book, The Power of Literature: Unlocking the Hidden Pleasures of Reading. This book tries to capture that magic. The book is designed to reveal in fresh ways the pleasures that literature can bring, including some that are familiar and others that are rarely acknowledged. The book probes why people don’t like literature, why reading is so hard, how books can bring out our heroism, how books can bring people together, and how poetry, drama, and fiction can inspire, entertain, disturb, enlighten, and affirm us. It describes the “secrets behind the magic”—the techniques, tricks, and tools writers use to make their words irresistible. Listen in to the conversation by calling 646-668-8485. Sat, 14 Oct 2023 - 1h 05min - 1617 - Performance Christianity and Spiritual Dryness -- The Parker J. Cole Show
The words of the song says, "The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows, The more that I love Him, more love He bestows; Each day is like heaven, my heart overflows, The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows." For some though, instead of deepening their relationship with Christ, a coolness grows. Church attendance becomes routine. Halleujah drones out and becomes nothing more than words of a song. Bible reading is perfunctory. Prayer time is a check off the list of things done. Church work is simply that ... church work. The scandals that erupt in church are often juicy and depressing -- Pastor so and so did this, the choir director did that. But what about the scandals in us? It's not that you're living a life rifled with sinful living, it's just ... you're going through the motions. You're experiencing with a coldness, a dryness, which leads to apathy. Is it because we're focused on doing this thing FOR the Lord? Are we merely performing? If that's the case, then how can we free ourselves from performance and have a real, in-depth relationship? If you feel your walk with Christ is dry, but you're not sure, you can take a self-assessment at https://www.freshfaith247.com. Do you want to stop the stage performance and experience the sweetness of serving the Lord once more? Join me as I chat with my returning guest co-host and contributor Jon Fugler as we discuss his newest book, Silence Your Inner Pharisee: Ditch Performance and Embrace Radical Freedom in Christ on Saturday, October 7th, at 2 pm Eastern time. Tue, 26 Sep 2023 - 33min - 1612 - Devotions from the Goat Pen -- The Parker J. Cole Show
Writing the devotions in this book was inspired by observing the behaviors of goats while standing in a goat pen. Each devotion springboards off a picture of goats acting like they are, well, goats, but they made me think of myself and maybe some other people! The stories shared are true. The questions shared about faith are genuine. The assurances are real. Goats are inspirational. The "kids" are smart, playful, and always looking for new adventures. All ages are sometimes willful and behave in ways that might lead to disaster. Like humans. Raising goats grows your patience, love, and ability to care for others. Through this devotional, may you come to understand what it means to be, and how you are, a "King's Kid!" Law of Attraction: A Gateway Drug to Spiritual Heroin by Jon Clash is a compelling book that shines a light on the dark side of the self-help industry. Clash draws from his personal experiences and research to expose the deceptive tactics used by gurus to exploit vulnerable individuals seeking success and happiness. He reveals how the Law of Attraction can lead to a dangerous addiction, where individuals become fixated on chasing feelings and spiritual highs, ultimately leading to a deep-seated dependency on the very gurus who sold it to them. The book is a powerful wake-up call for those who have been taken in by the deceptive practices of the Law of Attraction. Clash challenges readers to question everything they have been taught and to find a genuine path towards true success, peace, and spirituality rather than relying on empty promises. With its honest and no-holds-barred approach, Law of Attraction: A Gateway Drug to Spiritual Heroin is a must-read for anyone seeking to break free from the grip of self-help gurus and find their way toward a more fulfilling life. Happiness. Everyone wants it, but not everyone has it--or knows how to get it. According to a recent Harris poll, only 1 in 3 Americans describes himself as happy. Researchers have dubbed this the "most stressed" of all generations, despite its economic prosperity and technological advances. Anthony DeStefano, bestselling author of A Travel Guide to Heaven and Ten Prayers God Always Says Yes To, addresses this problem head-on in his freshly rewritten book, 30 Days to Your New Life, by striving to bring the joy of Heaven down to Earth right now. DeStefano utilizes the best personal development tools available, but balances and corrects them with Bible-based, faith-filled, time-tested, sacramental, Catholic principles. No matter how terrible your circumstances may be or how many times you've failed to achieve your goals in the past, this book will work for you. When I was recording this show with my guest today, he asked me the question: "What do you consider Christian nationalism?" In this episode, we delve into the arguments against Christian nationalism, but not without nuance. My guest, apologist and podcast Cody Libolt, peels back the veil on what this is and how we as Christian should respond.
