「後生文學獎」中的「後生」是客家話年輕、年輕人的意思，顧名思義是主辦單位專門為年輕人設立的文學獎。因為在2015年第一屆「後生文學獎」舉辦之前，各官方單位已舉辦多年的客家文學獎，得獎者都是熟捻客庄人文歷史及客語漢字書寫，年輕人較少有客庄生活經驗且不熟悉客語漢字書寫，很難與經驗豐富的前輩競爭。因此臺北市政府客家事務委員會舉辦第一屆的「後生文學獎」，明確定義參賽者年齡須在40歲以下，此點正好符合客家人對「後生」的定義。 「2024後生文學獎」正好邁入第10年，徵文主題以「十年．拾光」為主軸，書寫內容為客家故事、議題與文化特性。已經在9月30日截止收件。徵選類別有1.短篇小說：主要以華語書寫，內容、題材不限，惟須含客家元素與意象。2.散文：以華語書寫，以實地尋訪或跨世代訪談方式搜集題材方式為佳，須含客家元素與意象。3.小品文：以華語書寫，內容、題材不限，須含客家元素與意象。4.客語詩：以客語書寫，並標明腔調，輔以華語語釋。5.圖文創作：只要畫一幅和客家相關之圖文創作主題即可。又可分為12歲以下的【兒童組】及12歲以上的【青年組】兩組。也就是說「後生文學獎」參賽選手橫跨1-40歲間。 值得一提的是後生人張簡敏希連續8年都不曾缺席。後生文學獎的常勝軍陳凱琳推出第一本客家小說《藍之夢》，入選2022法蘭克福書展，讓國際都看見到客家文學。歷年「後生文學獎」作品皆呈現於臉書「微客Wake Up—文學 • 藝術 」，以節錄結合圖文創作，讓文學引起更多的共鳴，讓後生文學獎陪大家長大。 The "Hakka Writer 2024 Youth Literature Award" (後生文學獎) celebrates young writers who highlight Hakka stories and culture. 在幸福台九線尋找客家聚落，沿著縱谷地帶由北到南依序是花蓮市、吉安鄉、壽豐鄉，再次是農牧產興盛的鳳林鎮、光復鄉、瑞穗鄉，最後落在玉里鎮、富里鄉。在花蓮每三個人中就有一個是客家人，客家人口比率為全臺第四名，因此花蓮不難找到客家美食。 花蓮鳳林、玉里都有賣炸到香酥的臭豆腐，店家均有其特製的醬料及泡菜。富里鄉羅山村有用泥火山滷水製成的豆腐，口感綿密紮實清香，是羅山必嘗鮮的小吃。「校長的故鄉」鳳林鎮除了獲得國際慢城認證外，「鳳林三寶」值得順便品嘗，三寶即臭豆腐、檸檬汁、豬腳。每年5月至6月皆會舉辦鳳林西瓜節，微帶沙沙口感的鳳林西瓜，曾被選為國宴中的餐後水果，有「總統瓜」的美名。每年7月的鳳林花生節是以剝花生及臉夾花生等趣味活動，讓民眾體驗樂活的農耕生活。花蓮光復有煎到兩面酥香的手工花生糕。每年3月至4月萬榮箭筍節，會舉辦試吃、健走等活動，讓遊客品嘗美味的箭筍。 另外，花東縱谷最經典的場景就是禾浪，從花蓮富里、臺東池上到關山都有種植稻米，除了聞香全臺的池上便當外，還有許多的米食料理。台東中央市場內買得到客家庄精緻米食，「後山米樂園」於2012年獲選為臺東縣十大旅遊伴手禮暨特色美食。台東池上的豆腐、豆皮及豆花，更值得品嘗。這一趟幸福台九線之旅，客家美食收穫滿分。 Explore Hakka villages and enjoy delicious food along Happy Route 9 in Hualien and Taitung. 在臺灣八月是老師和學生的暑假，但你知道有個國家在這個月，全民都能隨機放15天的連續假期嗎？這裡的國民有「假期富翁」的稱號，更是許多上班族夢寐以求的地方——義大利。 因為2000多年前，羅馬帝國的首位皇帝奧古斯都（Augustus）常在八月取得多次輝煌勝利，所以不僅八月的英文 "August" 源自他的名字，連8月1日都定為「奧古斯都休息日」（Feriae Augusti），直到7世紀，天主教把8月15日定為「聖母升天節」，於是，這兩節日被義大利人合併成「八月節」（Ferragosto），既能紀念重要人物，也慶祝小麥豐收。 原本只有一天的節日，為何會演變成連續15天的假期呢？因為每年八月，義大利常受熱浪侵襲，該月平均溫度高達35至40度，加上每位上班族每年有20天的額外有薪假期，所以大家會在學校暑假的這段期間規劃15天的連續假期，帶著親朋好友出國度假，讓自己身心放鬆。因此，若你八月去義大利，迎面而來的可能是宛如「鎖國」的空蕩街道喔！ 西方國曆8月15日慶祝「聖母升天節」，東方農曆8月15日則有「八月半節」，結合了「嫦娥奔月」的傳說。客家人在這個月透過宮廟遶境和傳統活動，來歡慶秋收並答謝神靈，還會邀請親朋好友團圓。 雲林詔安的「客家文化祭」是「八月半節」最具代表性的活動，其中由崙背鄉水汴頭崇賢寺舉辦的「澹仔火迎暗景」與二崙深坑社區的「溪王祭」均有百年歷史。「澹仔火迎暗景」源自於先民為防範宵小夜間侵擾，夜晚手持火把巡邏保護村民安全。現在，中秋節時會舉行「迎暗景」活動，請「觀世音菩薩」和其他神明出巡保佑村民，並藉由遶境的儀式讓村民還願，感謝菩薩保佑秋收；另一個活動，「溪王祭」是因為先民每天要涉水穿越新虎尾溪去田裡工作，早期沒有橋與堤防，所以每逢颱風大雨，溪水氾濫常造成意外，甚至淹沒村莊和良田。為祈求平安，村民除了祭拜「溪王」還在溪邊設置「石敢當」，祈求平安納福、防災消災。這一些習俗延續至今，展示了客家人感恩惜福的精神，也為詔安客庄增添了豐富的節日氣氛。 在本集的「客語說世界」，讓我們一起了解「八月節」的有趣知識！ -- Hosting provided by SoundOn

多學一種語言就多一種能力！為加強客語使用能力、鼓勵全民學習，客家委員會辦理客語能力認證(Certification of Hakka Language Proficiency)且分為基礎級、初級、中級、中高級、高級，考試項目包括聽力、口語和閱讀測驗，以測試參與測驗的人的聽、說、讀、寫能力。取得認證的人，可以提升自己的職業競爭力、並且為客語的傳承和保護做出貢獻。 Learn a new language, gain a new skill! To enhance the use of the Hakka language and encourage everyone to learn, the Hakka Affairs Council is offering the Certification of Hakka Language Proficiency. The album draws inspiration from Zeng's Hakka poetry and transforms it into Hakka folk songs. In the title track, "A Dragonfly Reads Poem," the dragonfly symbolizes how people often see things from a single perspective. However, with its compound eyes, a dragonfly can view the world from multiple angles. 《May the Force be with you》想必很多人對這句台詞不陌生。沒錯！這就是紅遍40年的電影「星際大戰 (Star Wars)」裡最經典的台詞，但你知道這句話為何讓每年的5月4日不只是「國際消防員日 (International Firefighters' Day)」，還是世界各地「星際迷」的「星際大戰紀念日」嗎？ 其實是跟英國第一位女性首相柴契爾夫人有關，因為1979年的五月四日是她上任就職的第一天。支持者 (保守黨) 買下整版倫敦晚報的廣告，在裏頭寫道：「願五月四日與你同在，馬姬 (瑪格莉特的暱稱)，恭喜！ (May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Through his songs, he shares his personal observations and experiences.
