- 44 - Attentive Men and Those That Can't Be Bothered 😂
Is there anything like too much attention when it comes to a man you're dating or hanging out with?? And is there too little? Lol. Emotional needs are easy to overlook in our relationships and they also look different for everyone. There's couples that give me the ick when I look at how intertwined their lives are 😂😂😂😂. And then there's me, and my dating experiences where I've hang out with people who give you different levels of attention. I feel like I've been refining what I like and what I hate over the years, so hear are a couple of happy moments and misadventures for you to enjoy. Lmk what you think and what kind of attention works for you!!!!!

Fri, 08 Nov 2024 - 36min - 43 - Self Care: A Religion
The world consistently overlooks self love and self care as incredible powerful tools of healing. At the expense of pouring into our own cups before we seek to fill other's, we look for validation and purpose in our relationships, our work, what we own, and even our external image on social media platforms. The real magic happens when we consistently remember to look inside and pour love into ourselves. Self-care is life-changing 🙌. This episode is my experience with my favourite acts of self love and why these conscious actions have completely changed the way I view the world and show up in my life. Enjoy!!!! Xx
Sun, 20 Oct 2024 - 23min - 42 - Emotionally Unavailable Niggas and Other Small Rants 😂

Sat, 29 Jul 2023 - 44min - 39 - Looking for Love in All The Wrong Places! 😂
Have you ever sat with yourself after a break up and wondered how the hell you ended up dating that person in the first place????? 😂😂😂😂😂. That was me in April after ending things with someone I was involved with for a few months. What started as a break up that had been long overdue ended up being a long period of reflection and realising that I have let my fear of abandonment influence my actions in both romantic and platonic relationships for the longest time. Because I wanted to dig deep and be truly vulnerable without dodging questions, I let my best friend Angelus interview me for this episode. We did not hold back and our hearts felt truly full afterwards. I hope you guys enjoy every single second of this!! We also did a pop culture review of Gossip Girl and mentioned our favourite excerpt for the week, amongst other fun new segments I am introducing on the Janet Kihara Podcast. I love y'all, Xx
Sat, 15 Jul 2023 - 45min - 38 - My 2022 Recap
Hi my loves! This episode is more goal-oriented because I talk about my ambitions for 2022 and how I think I performed throughout the year. Whenever we make vision boards at the start of the year, we imagine all our dreams coming true exactly how we picture it...but life doesn't unfold like that, does it? Hahaha. You get to hear all about how vision boards work and the best time in the year to start creating yours. Yes, I still believe in vision boards hahaha. I also talk about how life events like sickness, break ups, and losing your job or poor mental health can affect your goals and put you off-track. I also celebrate some great achievements I had in 2022, especially on the personal front. Listen in!! Xx.
Sat, 04 Mar 2023 - 31min - 37 - How I Did Single

So if you listed to the previous one, you know I was thrust into the streets and I was at a loss as to how I would navigate the whole process...it was not easy lol! But I got the hang of it pretty fast and I learnt a few things along the way...from self love to confidence and the kinds of dates I enjoy, this episode is the narration of a super fun time in my life and how it changed me. Tune in! Xx.

Guuyyyssss🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. 2021 was maaaaad! I had so so much fun, without classes or school, no responsibilities, just me taking a year to chill after years and years of studying. I had so many great moments. The parties, drunk nights, birthdays, road trips, boys 💀...I'm glad I had the year off. I have so many highlights and I mention a couple of them on this episode, plus maybe some regrets? 😂. Anyway, my gap year ended in May of 2022 and life began. I wish I could rewind it all 😍😍😍😍😍. Maybe you'll feel the same when you listen in. Love yah!!!! 💕

Leadership is a rollercoster. So so many highs and extreme lows plus infinite memories and lots of fun in between. Marvin and I had so much fun recording this, mostly because we were reminiscing on so many memories, and it was also cathartic and reflective for both of us 🥰. For this episode, we talk about our experiences as leaders, leading during a pandemic, how leadership changes you forever, and what we wish we could change about our journeys which spanned 3, 4, 5 years. We also mention some fun times and regrets we have 💀💀💀💀💀💀. Have fun listening in 🥰🥰. And check out Marvin's publication for some fun life lessons mixed with a bit of dark fiction (okay, A LOT lol). Xx :)

Thankfully my throat doesn't hurt anymore, I can swallow, and most importantly, I can record this episode without my throat aching for hours like it did when I got sick😂😂😂. I discuss paracetamol vs Ibuprofen, antibiotics, stronger antibiotics, my newfound love for smoothies, and how being sick really gave me presence of mind. What I learned from the experience is that I have been doing this gap year with one foot in and one foot out, so I am EXTENDING ITTTTTTTT. #noKSL 😂😂😂😂. I also realised that I really value my friendships and I will fully immerse myself in them henceforth. Thankful for those reflections❤❤❤. Plus the life decisions I made ❤❤❤.
