Saint Georges Road is the the 19th studio album from The Black Sorrows and was released to the world on Sept. 10 through Ambition Records. As if to come full circle for this milestone release, Joe reunited with Grammy nominated Peter Solley - producer of Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons’ breakthrough album Screaming Targets (‘79) that featured Joe’s first Top 40 hits, Hit and Runand Shape I’m In.

Saint Georges Road showcases 11 original tracks written by Joe Camilleriand his long-time writing partner Nick Smith. Before they embarked on the project, Peter Solleyasked Joe one question, “What kind of record do you want to make?” Joe replied, “A good one.” They have certainly achieved that judging by the reviews coming in.

The Black Sorrows continue to be one Australia’s most prolific and enduringly popular bands renowned for their high-energy live shows, musicianship, and infectious, roots-soaked blues rock. They’ve sold more than two million albums to date and won an ARIA Award for Best Group.

Joe Camilleri has been at the forefront of Australian music for decades as the leader of Jo Jo Zep and The Falcons and The Black Sorrows and as writer of radio anthems Hit & Run, Shape I’m In, Chained To The Wheel, Harley & Rose and Never Let Me Go.

Joe Camilleri is an ARIA Hall of Famerand at 73 years old, a rock’n’roll lifer. Not ready to hang up his boots just yet, he’s working on his 51st album. It’s what he does.

Adam Said - Dad loved the Whitsunday Islands and spent the best years of his life working on a  beautiful old charter boat called the Elizabeth.E, which was based in Mackay. I wanted to write this  song for many years since dad's passing, but it was still too raw and emotional. This song is very  personal to me, and I knew Graeme Connors, who is based in Mackay, would be the perfect writing  partner to help me capture the emotion I wanted to convey in the song. Graeme is an incredible  songwriter, and it was a real pleasure to tell this story with him. I have to say, of all the songs I have  written, this one is my favourite." The video was produced by multiple award winner Duncan Toombs from The Filmery. The pair  travelled to Mackay and spent several days filming around the township, and on the very same boat,  with Les' old work mates. Harvey says "This song documents the important moments in my father’s life, and I knew Duncan  Toombs was the right man to capture the emotion I wanted to convey in the video clip. He has done  an incredible job painting the perfect picture to go with my lyrics. I still get emotional when I watch the  video." With a career spanning over twenty years, half a million album sales, gold and platinum albums, and  eight Golden Guitar awards, Adam Harvey is one of Australia’s most popular and enduring recording  artists. Harvey was presented with the CMA Global Country Artist Award in 2007 and has been  awarded a Centenary Medal for his charity work. Harvey is also an Ambassador for the Fred Hollows  Foundation, and the McGrath Foundation. Harvey is currently writing a book titled "Tales from the Road", which is a collection of stories from  Adam and his country music mates chronicling some of the funny, inspiring and downright scary things  that have happened on tour over the years. Following the outstanding success of his latest album Songs From Highway One, which hit #1 on the  ARIA Top 40 Country Albums and #10 on the ARIA Albums (all genres), Harvey spent most of 2021  performing to sell-out crowds across Australia

From party anthems to heartfelt ballads, anything goes! Sydney based singer-songwriter Cassidy-Rae is a name you'll want to remember. Wandering songstress talented and versatile rising star - there are no limits when it comes to creativity! Her work has been well received at home, and across the ocean, especially since Cassidy-Rae had the chance to play for Cruise Ship audiences in the United States, Bahamas, as well as Turks & Caicos. Recently, the Sydney songstress wrapped up her brand new single, “I’m On Vacation,” a track featuring a very original blend of country and pop music, going for a very appealing sound that’s bright and warm, but also sunny and light-hearted.

Turning heads ever since she won the starring role in her first school play, Cassidy-Rae’s love of music was evident. But the early inception of passion began years before in the family home where she was singing before she could talk and followed in her brothers footsteps, learning piano at two-years-old.  A stand-out student in her school choir and a proud member and leader within the prestigious Australian Girls Choir, some of her more exclusive, noteworthy performances include former President of the United States, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Hugh Jackman at the launch of Les Miserables premiere and The Pope in Rome.

"I love the power of music - it's ability to transcend all barriers and connect from one heart to another.  I fall in love with music everyday for its heart, its passion and its soul - throughout my entire life, it has always been a comfort and a source of joy.  That's what I inspire to do with my music - connect with my heart & share the joy."

If you enjoy the sound of artists such as Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor and Kelsea Ballerini, you cannot miss out on Cassidy-Rae’s work!

  • 84 - Josh Oreo - From the Atlas

Josh Oreo is an Adelaide Singer Songwriter , He Joined john on his Radio Show ( 2BACR 90s to Now ) He spoke about his Great New Release From the Atlas ., A great chat and Music   - www.joshoreo.com

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At a glance, Josh Oreo is a rejuvenator of 90’s era Brit-rock and of literary merit, he is a rarity apprenticed to England’s Morrissey, and is somewhat a traditionalist; being dedicated to balancing a musical landscape heavy with homogeneous cookie-cutter albums and the ethics behind them, Josh Oreo cites Kristeen Young’s bold artistry, Smoking Popes unflinching vulnerability and Liam Gallagher’s self-assurance as his influences. Having battled and beaten both two brain surgeries and anorexia, the themes of Josh Oreo are survival, despair and indignation. Such themes validating the distorted guitars and indomitable drums. With his eye on assembling the players for some live shows in 2020 /21 and further recording, Josh Oreo is raring to make his mark.
