Sun, 22 Sep 2024 - 14681 - Sep. 22: An investigation into election interference during the 2021 Canadian Federal Election
Investigators for the Commissioner of Canadian Elections agreed that the Chinese government before and during the 2021 federal election was actively engaged in pushing Chinese Canadian voters to vote against British Columbia (Steveston-Richmond East) MP Kenny Chiu. These actions concluded the investigators .. This included the possibility that travel to and from China could be interfered with by Chinese authorities, as well as measures being taken against family members or business interests in Canada."
