Just like adults, children have their own unique ways of feeling and expressing love. Understanding your child's love language can help you deepen your bond with them and make them feel more loved and appreciated. So, let's dive in! What are the 5 love languages? Words of affirmation Quality time Acts of service Physical touch Gifts
Each person has a primary love language that speaks to them the most. By understanding your child's primary love language, you can better meet their emotional needs and make them feel loved. How can you identify your child's love language? There are several ways to identify your child's love language. One way is to observe how they express love to others. For example, if your child is always giving hugs and cuddles, physical touch might be their primary love language. If they are always offering to help others, acts of service might be their love language. Another way is to pay attention to what your child complains about the most. For example, if they frequently express that they wish you would spend more time with them, quality time might be their love language. How can you show love to your child in their love language? Once you've identified your child's love language, you can start showing love to them in ways that they understand and appreciate. Here are some ideas: Words of affirmation: Compliment your child on their strengths and accomplishments. Use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. Quality time: Set aside dedicated time to spend with your child doing something they enjoy. Put away distractions and give them your undivided attention. Acts of service: Help your child with tasks they find challenging, such as homework or chores. Show them you care by taking care of things they might not be able to handle on their own. Physical touch: Offer hugs, cuddles, and other physical affection. Show physical support when they need it. Gifts: Give thoughtful gifts that show you know your child's interests and tastes. Remember, it's not about the price tag, but the thought behind the gift.

What's up new agers! We had a big storm happening while recording so please bear with us in the beginning of the episode, but the sound quality gets way better. We had a dope guest this episode: Please meet Kim Williams!
Kim Williams is a content creator and mom. After searching to find single black moms that were podcasting and not finding any that were current, she decided to fill the gap by creating a podcast and building a community that not only supports each other online, but also offline. Kim is very passionate about educating single moms so that they can live the life they desire without feeling alone on the journey of Single Motherhood, which can become so isolating. Because of the platform, moms all around the world (single and married) have been able to change the way they think, implement strategies to improve their life and the life of their children, and make connections with other moms.
