In this episode our guest is Dr. Zulkifli bin Zainal Abidin who is a Roboticist and Associate Professor at the International Islamic University. He shares with us on the importance of thinking outside the box in pushing for innovative and creating something uniquely our own. When he was writing his PHD, Dr Zul looked at nature when it came to finding answers he needed in developing his own unmanned vessel and it was the fruit-fly which gave him a reference point to start drawing out the blueprint for his own robotics project.
Dr.Zul also believes we must have hobbies outside of our field of work so we are able to think beyond the normal paradigm. Innovation after all is born out of each person's unique perspective above all else.

Social Media according to Zulaikha has also allowed brands to connect with the community they are serving even more. As now they have the tools to not only create and share their content effortlessly, but they are able to keep their eyes and ears on the ground to understand their customers better. A multi-stakeholder approach would be the best way to be safe online and user empowerment should be how we approach things."
Our guest for this episode; Edika Amin, Public Policy AnalystIn the age of speed, we get our information almost instantly. Everything moves really fast. At times faster than we care to admit as well. Authenticity, safety, and privacy are all factors we need to consider for ourselves and our kids to be aware.
In this episode, Edika shares with us through his professional opinion the best way for us to equip ourselves against harmful or inauthentic content when receiving them online. Edika believes in user empowerment and having a multi-stakeholder approach where self-regulation of individuals, companies, nations and etc in combating fake news.
There may be a lot of disingenuous information out there but Edika believes that we still hold the power in shaping our society to be one where we would still able to tell apart truth vs what is false.
As long as we create a positive social norm around our community and society, many of the problems we have online would be curbed.
