Allama Iqbal is considered one of the greatest philosophers and thinkers born in the subcontinent. His concept of self or خودی is widely known but I doubt it is understood well.

I wanted to engage in a discussion to understand what it means and how it is still very much relevant to our society today.

We have cultural conditioning that labels women as aggressive when they are trying to be assertive, hence the willingness to ascend to leadership roles is hindered.

I will touch upon my own experience growing up in a Government (Public school) and how one of my teachers really inspired me to do something I would have been scared to do.

Then I take about the circumstances where permission is easier to assume.
