Our new distribution Channel. Classic Radio Theater features great radio programs that warmed the hearts of millions for the better part of the 20th century. Host Wyatt Cox brings the best of radio classics back to life with both the passion of a long time (as in more than half a century) fan and the heart of a forty year news man. But more than just “playing the hits”, Wyatt supplements the first hour of each day’s show with historical information on the day and date in history including audio that takes you back to World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, LBJ. It’s a true slice of life from not just radio’s past, but America’s past.
Wyatt produces 21 hours a week of freshly minted Classic Radio Theater presentations each week, and each day’s broadcast is timely and entertaining!

    Then The Chase and Sanborn Hour with host Rudy Vallee, originally broadcast December 3, 1939, 85 years ago, with guest Maureen O’Hara.  Charlie McCarthy has started a Christmas shopping service. Guest Maureen O'Hara, John Archer and Charlotte Treadway appear in, "Rendezvous With Tomorrow," by Hilda Lawrence. Arthur Treacher appears as the perfect butler, who is now a "swingster." He sings, "A Tisket, A Tasket." Charlie and Maureen do a scene from, "Jamaica Inn...Long Island."

    Followed by The Old Gold Comedy Theatre hosted by Harold Lloyd, originally broadcast December 3, 1944, 80 years ago, Take A Letter, Darling. Girl hires boy in the advertising business. She's beautiful and he's a hunk. She's a sharp businesswoman, he's an artist who hates the world of business. 

    Then Jonathan Thomas and His Christmas On The Moon, originally broadcast December 3, 1938, 86 years ago, The Merry Go Round River. Escaping from the witch, Jonathan Thomas is given a magic word, which is needed to cross the Merry-Go-Round River. 

    Followed by Claudia, originally broadcast December 3, 1948, 76 years ago, Mrs. Brown Meets the Dog. Getting used to Buff and Buff getting used to David and Claudia. 

    Finally, Superman, originally broadcast December 3, 1941, 83 years ago.  The Pan-American Highway.  Clark Kent and Perry White discover one of the missing American engineers, by the name of John Craig.

    Followed by Gunsmokestarring William Conrad, originally broadcast December 2, 1956, 68 years ago, Speak Me Fair.  A young Kiowa Indian boy shows up in Dodge with his tongue cut out! Meanwhile, cattle are disappearing from the Traitsch Ranch. 

    Then Calling All Cars, originally broadcast December 2, 1938, 86 years ago, The Case of the Blind Man’s Bluff. A robbery has taken place, but thieves fall out. 

    Followed by Fibber McGee and Molly, originally broadcast December 2, 1954, 70 years ago, Strike Up The Wedding Band.  Doc Gamble is planning to elope, until Fibber gets involved. 

    Then Jonathan Thomas and His Christmas On The Moon, originally broadcast December 2, 1938, 86 years ago, The Valley of the Three Dwarfs. . Approaching the home of "The Three Dwarfs," the story borrows elements of Disney's 1933 animated short, "The Three Little Pigs" and his 1937 feature, "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs." Pinto Colvig's voice was heard in both these films. Jonathan is captured by a witch, named "Rumplestich."

    Finally Claudia, originally broadcast December 2, 1948, 76 years ago. A Dog in the Mail.  Taking Buff for a ride in the car to the Express office.

    Followed by Quiet Please starring Ernest Chappell, originally broadcast December 1, 1947, 77 years ago, Come In, Eddie. Eddie returns from the dead for a visit with the two guys who killed him. 

    We follow that with Rocky Fortune starring Frank Sinatra, originally broadcast December 1, 1953, 71 years ago, Murder Among The Statues.  Rocky is working for an art dealer, when a statue becomes green. This is very interesting to a wealthy collector. 

    Then Lum and Abner, originally broadcast December 1, 1941, 83 years ago, The Story of Pinky Winky.  Lum and Cedric are enjoying one of the books from the Jot 'Em Down Store's new library. Lum reads, "The story of Pinky Winky."

    And Jonathan Thomas and His Christmas On The Moon, originally broadcast December 1, 1938, 86 years ago, Jonathan Meets Gorgonzola, The Horse.  . Jonathan and "The Man In The Moon" are sent to rescue Santa from the land of Squeebobble. Riding a horse named Gorganzola , Jonathan sets out on his mission of rescue.

    Finally, Superman, originally broadcast December 1, 1941, 83 years ago.  The Pan-American Highway.  Clark Kent and his friends are brought through a hidden tunnel to the land of the Incas

    Followed by the news from 72 years ago, then The Chase, originally broadcast November 30, 1952, 72 years ago, The Most Dangerous Game.  A man shipwrecked on a tropical island finds himself the quarry of an ex-Nazi who loves to hunt. 

    Then Big Town starring William Pawley, originally broadcast November 30, 1948, 76 years ago, I Remember Murder.  A band-leader steals $50,000 from The High Hatters Club and leaves town in a hurry. After he's "taken for a ride," the girl singer who was with him developes amnesia. "Harry The Hack" finds her...and the murder victim too.

    Followed by Ceiling Unlimited starring Orson Welles, originally broadcast November 30, 1942, 82 years ago, Wind, Sand, and Stars.  Good news about the "P-38 Lightning." The program is dedicated to an aviation pioneer who was lost in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco while flying the mail. The story of his battle for survival. 

    Then Jonathan Thomas and His Christmas On The Moon, originally broadcast November 30, 1938, 86 years ago,  Jonathan Promises to Find Santa. A case of kidnapping is being heard in the court of Old King Cole. The victim is none other than Santa Claus himself!

    Finally Claudia, originally broadcast November 30, 1948, 76 years ago. The Great Dane Debate. Claudia had gone to New York without telling David. There's a Great Dane in the future.

    We follow that with Have Gun Will Travel starring John Dehner, originally broadcast November 29, 1959, 65 years ago, Bitter Vengeance.  Paladin travels to Stone's Crossing, and nearly gets hanged for his trouble. 

    And Jonathan Thomas and His Christmas On The Moon, originally broadcast November 29, 1938, 86 years ago,  Santa Claus Is Kidnapped.  Six-year-old Jonathan follows a moonbeam back to the moon, where along with his teddy-bear named Gus (actually a Koala bear), he helps rescue Santa Claus from kidnappers.
